Overview

The God Realm is the domain of deities and the governing authority over lower realms, including the Douluo Continent. Its laws restrict gods from causing mass harm to lower-realm life, while seals and spatial passages regulate travel between realms 312 313.

Before Qian Yufeng's reforms, the Five Great God Kings controlled the God Realm Committee and had suppressed methods of attaining godhood to limit the ascent of new deities 451. Following Qian Yufeng's victory over them, the realm adopted a representative governing system and underwent a physical expansion into the God Realm Star 452 453 456.

Governance

Former God Realm Committee

The Five Great God Kings formerly held the God Realm Committee's administrative authority. They were responsible for maintaining the realm's order but were unable to support its continued growth, which had reached a developmental bottleneck 451 453.

• The Five Great God Kings relinquished the Committee's administrative power to Qian Yufeng after his victory over them 452.
• Their withdrawal from the Committee created an opportunity for other gods to stand for election 452.
• They later acknowledged Qian Yufeng's leadership and the stability of the reformed realm 457.

Temporary Management Group

Laws and Restrictions

• Gods who cause mass harm to living beings in a lower realm are subject to the laws of the God Realm 312.
• The God Realm's seals contain weak points that may be pierced to open passages between realms; one such point lies ten kilometers northwest of Slaughter City 313.
• Spatial passages can contain dangerous Space-Time Turbulence 314.
• Following the creation of the God Realm Star, the laws of worlds under its jurisdiction no longer restrict Qian Yufeng and the Silver Dragon King's strength when they descend to lower realms 456.

History

The God Realm became concerned after the Snow Empress activated the Ice God's divinity and remained in the lower realm. Poseidon argued that the Ice God's presence in the Far North posed no wider threat, while noting that divine law could punish a god who harmed lower-realm life on a massive scale 312.

The realm's tensions escalated after the Angel God escaped to the Douluo Continent with Qian Yufeng's assistance. The Asura God attempted to intercept Qian Yufeng upon his entry into the God Realm but failed to stop him 313 314. The Five Great God Kings later sent the God of Space to investigate the increasing divine-law fluctuations on the Douluo Continent; the Snow Empress intercepted the investigator 334.

After Qian Yufeng became the God of Chaos, he defeated the Asura God and later the combined Five Great God Kings. He then obtained the administrative authority of the God Realm Committee and called for a Deity Representative Assembly to reform its stagnant political system 435 450 452.

The assembly elected 365 representatives and established a ten-member God Realm Committee. Qian Yufeng framed the reform as necessary because no new gods were being born and the realm had reached a developmental bottleneck 453.

Qian Yufeng subsequently released the Golden Dragon King, refined it into pure essence, and merged it with the Silver Dragon King. The Silver Dragon King became the new Dragon God and agreed to cooperate in developing the realm 454 455.

God Realm Star

Qian Yufeng and the Silver Dragon King transformed the former God Realm into a planet-like sphere called the God Realm Star 456.

• The project expanded the realm by one-third and reorganized its zones 455.
• The Silver Dragon King's power changed the realm from a flat plane into a sphere, while Qian Yufeng supplied the power needed to complete the expansion 456.

The God Realm is inhabited by deities from multiple regions and factions, including human-origin gods and Soul Beast clan gods. Its new representative system was especially welcomed by Soul Beast deities, who had previously lacked comparable influence in governance 452 453.

A day in the God Realm equals a year on the Douluo Continent. Despite its divine status, Qian Yufeng describes life there as comparatively dull, with communication crystals used to help ascended gods maintain contact with relatives in the lower realm 458.

By the events of the extra chapter, the God Realm Star has become a “Cyber God Realm,” featuring divine-power-operated hovering ships, airships, and skyscrapers. Its technology produces no pollution because its tools and energy sources are powered by divine power 469.
