Umaru rubbed her slightly swollen temples. Fusing with the Godhead had drained a tremendous amount of her energy. Right now, all she wanted was to collapse onto the sofa, drink cola, and watch anime.
"Right! Onii-chan!"
She suddenly remembered her earlier "bold declaration," and her eyes immediately lit up.
"You can't skimp on the comfort or the tasty food you promised!"
Umaru chuckled. Though, of course, she had been the only one making that promise.
With a thought, the dark purple divine radiance around her slowly receded, and the divine markings on her skin gradually faded away, leaving only a tiny Death Holy Emblem at her collarbone.
"I should head back and find Onii-chan first~"
She stretched lazily and left the void space.
Only after fusing with the Godhead of the Goddess of Death did she learn that this was not a space the Chat Group had created to help her fuse with it. It was a space created by the Goddess of Death specifically to house the souls of the underworld.
But with the world's destruction, even the Goddess of Death herself had died. How could those souls possibly still remain?
Within the vast space, only the Godhead of the Goddess of Death was left.
If she wanted to in the future, she could place the souls of lifeforms that died on Earth into this space. Though it would not really serve any purpose; it was merely a container.
At the same time, Kasumigaoka Utaha had already returned home.
Although her wish attempt had failed, she was still looking forward to the [All-Encompassing Elementalist] profession. At the very least, its potential ceiling might even be higher than Umaru's [Godhead of the Goddess of Death].
Umaru's [Godhead of the Goddess of Death] was a reward
