Function & Uses

Points are the Chat Group's transferable resource. Members use them to obtain items, techniques, abilities, services, and access to group functions. Their value depends on what they can be exchanged for rather than on the number held alone 1833.

Acquisition

• Recycling resources — The Chat Group recognizes valuable materials, treasures, corpses, technology, knowledge, cultivation methods, and special abilities as recyclable resources 19 309 1985.
• Mission rewards — Transmigrator Missions calculate and distribute rewards according to each member's contribution; Bai Xuan received 18,000 Points for one such mission 644.
• Research and technological development — Scientific achievements and reproducible technology can become a stable source of Points, particularly for technologically advanced civilizations 309 1635.
• Commerce — Myriad Worlds Merchants can profit by purchasing Chat Group goods and reselling them in their own worlds, though the Group's recycle price may differ sharply from local market value 1245 1269.
• Creating knowledge — New martial arts and other original techniques can be recycled, providing a renewable route for creators such as Zhang Sanfeng 309.
• Plunder and conquest — Some members acquire Points by recycling spoils from war or conquered civilizations; this approach is controversial within the Chat Group 1643 1802.

Valuation

The Chat Group sets its own recycling standards, which do not necessarily match a world's market value. Reselling a Group item at a substantial markup may still yield only a limited profit after it is recycled 1269.

Enhancement Function

The Enhancement Function strengthens something the user already possesses. Its success rate is not fixed: higher-base-level items and abilities are harder to enhance, while lower-level targets have a higher chance of success 1388.

• Each attempt can cost 1,000 Points; Loki once spent seven million Points on failed enhancement attempts 548.
• A successful enhancement can provide a severalfold or even dozens-fold increase to the selected target 1388.
• Repeated attempts do not guarantee success. Su Yunqing spent 100,000 Points on one hundred attempts to enhance her Angel Fruit without a success 1389.
• The function's risk makes some members reserve their Points for more reliable uses, while Marquis Voban repeatedly wagers enormous sums on it 1505 1804.

Enlightenment Function

Unlike enhancement, the Enlightenment Function converts Points into time spent comprehending rules, laws, and different power systems. It does not simply grant a finished result; it provides the understanding needed to reach one 1833.

• Users can study weaknesses, solve long-standing problems, compare systems, or attempt to derive entirely new paths 1833.
• Its returns are presented as stable and self-directed rather than randomized, making it especially appealing to Aizen and Loki 1827 1833.
• Its cost rises with the user's level. Su Yunqing's seven million Points were depleted quickly, while stronger members estimated they might require tens or hundreds of millions for meaningful use 1832.
• Billions of Points may still last only briefly when spent through the Enlightenment or Enhancement Functions 1857.
