Su Yunqing uploaded the Memory Copy of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress and offered her commentary along the way.
The story of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress centered on two beings caught between Kabane and humans, known as "Kabaneri"—Ikoma and Mumei—and the mobile fortress they inhabited, the Kotetsujo. It depicted humanity's desperate struggle for survival under the threat of the Kabane.
By choosing the relatively neutral perspective of the "Kabaneri," it seemed to deliberately guide viewers to consider the boundary between monsters and humans.
The early portions were fairly good. While showing the horror of the Kabane, they also exposed the ugliness and selfishness of some humans trapped aboard the Kotetsujo.
The dilemma of the "Kabaneri" seeking survival and acceptance within human society was also portrayed with great depth.
