The Intent Body had been condensed from his consciousness and should have the most direct connection to his Soul Origin.
What he needed to do was use the Intent Body to sense the location of his Soul Origin.
The Intent Body's pearly white radiance was like a tiny lantern in the gray seawater.
It expanded bit by bit, growing brighter bit by bit.
Ye Wudao stood in the seawater, throwing himself into it completely as he felt the feedback brought by the Intent Body's spread.
One second, two seconds, three seconds...
Time trickled by.
Fine beads of sweat seeped onto Ye Wudao's forehead.
This kind of sensing was far more difficult than he had imagined.
There were tens of thousands of light specks in the Soul Sea.
Every single light speck interfered with his sensing.
As his Intent Body spread, it was constantly disturbed by those light specks. One moment it sensed the aura of this speck, the next moment the aura of that one; he simply could not focus.
Ye Wudao gritted his teeth and persisted.
He knew he could not give up at a time like this.
The longer he persisted, the clearer the sensing would become.
Who knew how long passed? Perhaps an hour, perhaps two. Ye Wudao suddenly sensed something.
It was an exceedingly faint sensation.
So faint that he nearly thought it was an illusion.
But he did not let that sensation slip away.
He focused all his attention and carefully followed that trace of feeling.
The sensation came from his front left.
Far away.
Extremely far away.
So far away that his Intent Body could not sense
