Childhood at the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect

Ning Rongrong grows up surrounded by Ning Fengzhi’s affection and the protection of Sword Douluo Chen Xin and Bone Douluo Gu Rong. Her father’s sons have comparatively ordinary talent, leaving him especially hopeful about her potential. After her successful awakening, she is named the sect’s Young Mistress and regarded as its future hope 100 101.

As a child, she is attached to Crown Prince Xue Qinghe, whom she calls her senior brother because he is her father’s disciple. She does not realize that Qian Ye is impersonating him. During one reunion, she complains that he has kept her waiting for more than a year 99 113.

Leaving with Qian Ye

When Qian Ye approaches her under his own identity, Ning Rongrong treats him as a trespasser and threatens him with her protectors. Believing she can defeat ten sect disciples at once, she confidently challenges him. The disciples have actually been letting her win; against Qian Ye, she cannot even move his leg and eventually bites his thigh rather than concede 111.

Qian Ye then offers to evolve her Martial Soul into the legendary Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda. Although suspicious, she decides the opportunity is too important to lose. Nuoding Academy and Martial Soul Evolution

At Nuoding Academy, Ning Rongrong discovers that her prestigious background does not make her the strongest student. Seeing Tang San, Xiao Wu, and the Jie sisters obtain their first Soul Rings while she lags behind makes her resolve to spend less time playing 151.

She asks Qian Ye to fulfill his promise of evolution and takes his Body Tempering Pill. The next morning, foul-smelling black impurities cover her body, alarming Dorm Seven. Washing reveals clearer, fairer skin; when she summons her Martial Soul, she discovers that the pagoda now has nine floors 156 157 158.

After roughly two months away, she returns home with Qian Ye and the Jie sisters. She introduces him as her friend and benefactor, explains her studies, and reveals her evolved pagoda to her astonished father and guardians 171 172 173.

Marriage Proposal and the Pill Dispute

Hoping to recruit Qian Ye, Ning Fengzhi offers to arrange an engagement between him and Ning Rongrong. Qian Ye declines because he already has a marriage agreement with someone else 184.

Ning Rongrong later recognizes that the pills Qian Ye sells her elders are Essence Strengthening Pills rather than Body Tempering Pills. Ning Rongrong accompanies Qian Ye’s group to Shrek Academy and passes its entrance examination after he intervenes with Zhao Wuji. At the Suo Tuo Grand Soul Arena, she waits with Oscar for team events while the others enter individual matches 205 212 254.

Her trust in Qian Ye continues during her academy years. He treats the pain of her first period with massage, divine power, and three Healing Carrots. She later learns that Na’er is a transformed Soul Beast and promises to keep her identity secret from everyone except Xiao Wu 290 293.

Limit Douluo and the City of Slaughter

Qian Ye’s Soul Master Upgrade Cards raise Ning Rongrong to level ninety-nine. Delighted, she asks whether she has now surpassed Grandpa Bone and Grandpa Sword, then shows Xiao Yao her nine Soul Rings 446 447.
