Although he had learned that Gecko Moria was hiding somewhere in Wano Country, the two zombies before him—neither of them Wano Country monsters—had made Buggy lose interest in further exploration.

Ahong asked Buggy whether the villagers' illness was related to those monsters, then begged him to slay the demons and help the villagers afflicted with the strange disease return to normal.

Now that those villagers' shadows were in Gecko Moria's hands, it would have been one thing if it were a simple matter. But Buggy did not even know where Moria was, so why would he waste his effort doing something unnecessary? He refused outright.

Pirates were hardly good people!

Seeing that neither Weevil nor Mikuru was sleepy, and that they had already solved the mystery of the monsters, he saw no need to linger any longer and decided to leave at once and travel through the night.

Though Ahong was disappointed by Buggy's refusal, Buggy was still a hero in his eyes for eliminating three demons. Thus, he enthusiastically pointed them toward Harmony Spring, the great city at the center of Kuri.

Buggy's group then set off in the direction he had indicated.

On the morning of the third day, Buggy's group arrived at Harmony Spring, a city nestled against Falling Blossom Mountain. Its architecture resembled that of the Edo period, as though it had stepped straight out of an ukiyo-e painting.

The streets were crowded with people and brimmed with lively prosperity.

After asking around for Kozuki Oden's residence, Buggy arrived before the Kozuki estate and announced his name. The guards at the gate seemed to know he was coming; they immediately invited him to wait in the main hall, then hurried off to notify Kozuki Oden.

"How did Kozuki Oden know I was coming?" Buggy sat
