A light rain began to fall from the sky.

The two armies had been locked in a standoff within Peace-War Pass for nearly two days when Genji's defending forces finally took the initiative to challenge them.

Kozuki Oden led his troops into formation. The vast armies faced each other from north and south beneath the drizzle.

Buggy stared ahead for a moment before asking, "Did Kaido come?"

"The scouts I sent out earlier did discover several pirate ships flying large banners landing along the coast in the direction of Izumo..." Kozuki Oden said.

As they spoke, Genji's army parted to either side. Genji rode out on horseback, followed by a group of unruly-looking pirates. These restless pirates looked around at the soldiers standing ramrod straight and the grim military formation, occasionally letting out piercing jeers.

Not only were several daimyo under Genji visibly angered by these uncouth pirates, but even Kozuki Oden, their enemy, found them exceedingly rude. Yet what caught his attention more was the heavily made-up woman surrounded by the pirates. Lowering his voice, he asked, "Who is that woman?"

"I think I've seen her bounty poster before..." Buggy pondered briefly. "Oh, it's her..."

Before leaving Festival Island, Buggy had roughly gone over every bounty poster issued by the Marines. It was only when Lilina had specifically mentioned the recent movements of the Beast Pirates during their earlier exchange of intelligence via Den Den Mushi that he recalled the poster he had seen. This woman... was one of the Beast Pirates' three highest-ranking officers, Queen of the Wind Calamity, with a bounty of 980 million.
