The World Is Shocked!

The Ark Maxim carried Buggy to the outskirts of Totto Land's waters, where he could finally make out several figures kicking up spray across the sea, along with a pirate ship.

Buggy said, "Tesoro, you did very well this time... You showed me the value of our partnership. I think we can continue working together in the future."

"Probably only you could storm Big Mom's territory alone and take on an entire Four Emperors crew by yourself..." Tesoro revealed a gloomy smile. "Only by working with you can I achieve my goal faster."

Buggy wore a noncommittal expression. Saying he had taken on an entire Four Emperors crew was an exaggeration. Though he had run wild on Whole Cake Island today and ruined Charlotte Linlin's carefully prepared tea party, he had not managed to kill a single Big Mom Pirates officer.

In truth, with Charlotte Linlin and the Charlotte Family eyeing him like tigers, he still could not wipe out the entire Big Mom Pirates and retreat unscathed. His main purpose in causing destruction had been to intimidate them and demonstrate his strength.

As for Enel invading Whole Cake Island from the sky and creating Thunderclouds to destroy the towns, that had been Buggy's suggestion to Tesoro before coming to Totto Land. But he had not held out much hope, so he was rather surprised that Tesoro had successfully persuaded Enel.

Enel's arrival meant Buggy could evacuate Whole Cake Island from the air, avoiding the Big Mom Pirates' relentless pursuit across land and sea. It was also the best possible escape route.

Though events had unfolded quite differently from what he had expected.

"All right... thank you for your cooperation." Buggy narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked at Enel. "Enel, are you interested in becoming my subordinate?"
