"I cannot make your tail grow back, but I can remove the divine power sealing it," the Guardian replied, then asked with some uncertainty, "However, Sun Wukong, do you really intend to have your tail back? That fellow named Vegeta was right; you will lose your reason once you transform into a Great Ape."
"That won't happen anymore," Sun Wukong laughed. "Hurry up and remove the divine power sealing my tail..."
As he said this, Sun Wukong scratched his head in distress.
I actually used such a stupid method to rip my tail out back then.
Just thinking about it hurts!
So, the reason my tail wouldn't grow back was because it had been sealed by the Guardian's divine power.
Wait, that's not right.
Vegeta's tail... in the timeline I belong to, it seemed to have been cut off by Yajirobe in one stroke.
I never saw Vegeta grow his tail back after that, either.
"Guardian, can you seal my tail from a great distance?" Sun Wukong suddenly realized something about Vegeta's tail and hurriedly asked the Guardian.
"What do you mean?" The Guardian was taken aback.
"For example, if I were at home, could you seal my tail from here at the Lookout?" Sun Wukong asked.
"I could. I would only need to cover your tail with intangible divine power; it would be very easy to do," the Guardian nodded.
Sun Wukong suddenly understood.
So, the reason Vegeta never grew his tail back must be because the Guardian secretly sealed it.
If I calculate the time, it's very likely that after Vegeta died and was resurrected on Earth, the Guardian was worried he would do something evil and secretly sealed his tail so it couldn't grow back.
Later on, the matter was just left at that.
That is also the reason why neither I nor Vegeta have grown our tails back.
"Please help me undo the seal, Guardian." Sun Wukong urged.
"It is already undone." The Guardian smiled.
"Eh? It's already undone? I didn't see you do anything," Sun Wukong was stunned.
"There is no need to do anything; I only needed to disperse that bit of divine power from before," the Guardian said with a smile.
"That's great!" Sun Wukong was overjoyed and couldn't help but rub his hands together. "Does that mean my tail will suddenly grow back just like when I was a kid?"
"More or less," the Guardian nodded.
"Thank you, Guardian. I'll be going now." Sun Wukong waved goodbye.
"Whoosh!"
Sun Wukong vanished from the spot in an instant.
In a certain wilderness.
"Why do you keep following me?" Piccolo glared at Gohan, who was trailing behind him, and said irritably.
Gohan tapped his two index fingers together, looking down with a wronged expression.
"Go home quickly! Your mother is calling you home for dinner!" Piccolo huffed.
"I want to train with Uncle Piccolo," Gohan gathered his courage, clenched his fists, and said to Piccolo.
"Don't joke around! Your father has already become so powerful; you should be training with him!" Piccolo rolled his eyes and said angrily. "Besides, didn't you say it yourself? Your dream is to become a great scholar. What's the point of you training now? Furthermore, the Saiyan has already been defeated!"
"This..." Gohan mumbled for a long time, not knowing how to respond.
"Whoosh!"
Just then, Sun Wukong used Instant Transmission and arrived on the scene in an instant.
"Dad!" Gohan was pleasantly surprised and immediately threw himself into his father's arms.
Sun Wukong picked Gohan up and placed him on his shoulder.
"Sun Wukong!" Piccolo felt a bit uneasy inside.
In less than a year, Sun Wukong's strength had improved far too rapidly.
"Piccolo, shall I take you somewhere to train?" Sun Wukong asked with a smile.
"Take me somewhere to train? Where?" Piccolo was stunned.
"King Kai's planet. The gravity there is ten times that of Earth. Training on that planet will definitely yield twice the result with half the effort!" Sun Wukong laughed.
"King Kai's planet?" Piccolo raised an eyebrow and asked curiously, "Isn't that a place... where only the dead can go?"
"It doesn't matter. I have Instant Transmission, so I can take you there," Sun Wukong said with a smile.
Piccolo fell silent.
After a brief moment of stagnation.
Piccolo looked deeply at Sun Wukong and asked with a smile, "Sun Wukong, you need to get one thing straight: helping me train to become stronger is very disadvantageous for you! Don't forget, my ultimate goal is to destroy you and rule this world once again!"
"Hahaha, Piccolo, you're really interesting." Sun Wukong laughed and couldn't help but pat Piccolo on the body.
"Bang!"
Piccolo flew backward, slammed into the ground, and tumbled over a dozen times.
Once he finally came to a stop, Piccolo spat out a mouthful of blood, feeling as though his entire body was falling apart.
Gohan was stunned, his face turning deathly pale.
"Uncle Piccolo!" Gohan cried out in alarm.
"Ah... Piccolo, I'm really sorry. I used too much strength and accidentally sent you flying," Sun Wukong said, startled, as he hurried forward to pull Piccolo to his feet.
Piccolo felt as if his entire body had been dismantled; the discomfort was indescribable.
"I've got it! I'll find someone to heal you, and you'll recover in no time!" Sun Wukong said, immediately grabbing Piccolo before turning to instruct Gohan, "Gohan, don't you move!"
"Yes, Dad," Gohan nodded.
"Let go of me! I don't need healing! This little injury is nothing to me!" Piccolo gritted his teeth, his nostrils flaring with rage.
"Alright, suit yourself," Sun Wukong released him.
"Are you trying to beat me to death so you can send me to King Kai?" Piccolo asked with a dark expression.
Sun Wukong: "..."
"You don't have to die to go there," Sun Wukong replied.
"Hmph, thanks for the offer, then let's go," Piccolo nodded.
"Dad... I want to train with Uncle Piccolo too," Gohan said, clenching his fists stubbornly.
"Gohan wants to train too? Alright then, you can both go." Sun Wukong didn't object, and with Piccolo and Gohan in tow, he performed Instant Transmission.
"Whoosh!"
In the blink of an eye, Sun Wukong appeared on King Kai's planet with Piccolo and Gohan.
The moment they arrived, Piccolo and Gohan felt a powerful pressure surging toward them.
Piccolo gritted his teeth, struggling to keep from buckling under the weight.
Gohan, however, wasn't as careful; he collapsed onto the ground, his body pressed firmly against the earth.
"King Kai, I'm back again," Sun Wukong said, waving a greeting.
King Kai: "..."
"King Kai, I brought Piccolo and my son Gohan here to train. You don't mind, do you?" Sun Wukong added.
King Kai's face turned as black as a lump of coal.
You've already brought them here, and now you're asking if I mind?
That's incredibly rude, you know!
"Since you don't mind, I'll bring a few more people over," Sun Wukong laughed, adding, "Krillin and the others need to get stronger too!"
