"Old Supreme Kai, please, don't say any more. It's quite terrifying..." Sun Wukong forced a strained smile onto his face, feeling deeply shaken.
Yet, for some reason, a flicker of excitement and anticipation stirred within Sun Wukong's heart.
Ten thousand times stronger than an Evil Dragon, perhaps even a hundred thousand or a million times stronger.
He never imagined that such a powerful figure could exist in this universe.
I must train diligently and return to my peak state as soon as possible.
Then, I will surpass myself and reach an even higher level.
"Also, regarding the Dragon Balls, use them however you wish," Old Supreme Kai said to Sun Wukong again. "For instance, if your tail truly won't grow back, you could make a wish to Shenron and ask him to regrow it. That would be much better than just pulling it out, wouldn't it?"
"Oh? That's a good idea. Why didn't I think of that?" Sun Wukong's eyes brightened, though he asked with some concern, "Old Supreme Kai, are you sure that no matter how I use the Dragon Balls, an Evil Dragon won't be born?"
"Actually, I'm not entirely sure myself..." Old Supreme Kai chuckled, scratching his head.
Sun Wukong: "..."
"However, there is one thing I can be certain of: it seems that in the timeline you reside in, a God of Destruction might not exist," Old Supreme Kai mused.
"So that guy named Beerus doesn't exist there?" Sun Wukong was a bit confused.
"Something like that," Old Supreme Kai nodded.
"Although I don't fully understand, I get the gist of it." Sun Wukong lowered his head in thought, muttering to himself. He punched his palm and asked, "Then, when will that God of Destruction, Beerus, likely appear?"
"In as little as ten years, or as long as twenty," Old Supreme Kai replied.
"Alright! I must train hard!" Sun Wukong reaffirmed his resolve to train.
Ten or twenty years from now, a guy even more terrifying than an Evil Dragon might be born.
I must protect my family and my friends.
"I'm leaving now, Old Supreme Kai." Sun Wukong waved goodbye to him.
"Go on, go on," Old Supreme Kai waved his hand dismissively.
"Whoosh!"
Sun Wukong performed Instant Transmission, vanishing from the spot in a flicker.
Seeing Sun Wukong disappear, Supreme Kai and Kibito couldn't help but exchange glances.
"Supreme Kai, was that kid using Instant Transmission just now?" Kibito suddenly realized.
"Yes, it looks a bit like the special technique of the Yardratians," Supreme Kai frowned slightly.
"It certainly looks like the Yardratians' Instant Transmission," Kibito nodded gently. "That kid is gone..."
"Let's go over and take a look," Supreme Kai said, stepping toward the direction of Old Supreme Kai.
Old Supreme Kai had just sent Sun Wukong off when he suddenly felt something was wrong.
That brat blasted me with such a massive energy wave, and I haven't even settled the score with him yet.
My whole body hurts!
"Ouch..." Old Supreme Kai couldn't help but groan, wincing in pain.
I forgot to discipline that brat!
What a blunder!
"Old Ancestor, are you alright?" Supreme Kai stepped forward, asking with concern. "Should I have Kibito heal you?"
"Do you even need to ask? Hurry up and heal me!" Old Supreme Kai grumbled, rolling his eyes.
Kibito quickly stepped forward, his hands blooming with healing light as he covered Old Supreme Kai's body.
Old Supreme Kai's injuries were healed in no time.
"Old Ancestor, what exactly happened? What did that man named Sun Wukong say to you?" Supreme Kai asked curiously.
"Nothing, don't ask about things you shouldn't," Old Supreme Kai rolled his eyes and turned to walk away.
Supreme Kai and Kibito were left speechless.
The Old Ancestor's personality is truly eccentric.
Old Supreme Kai gradually moved away from Supreme Kai and Kibito, then reached into his pants and pulled out a crystal ball.
Immediately after, Old Supreme Kai held his hands toward the crystal ball and began to chant.
"Pop!"
The next moment, a face appeared within the crystal ball.
"Oh my, if it isn't Old Supreme Kai. Have you finally emerged from the seal of the Z Sword?" Whis greeted him with a smile.
"Lord Whis, greetings, greetings," Old Supreme Kai laughed.
"Congratulations on seeing the light of day again," Whis said with a smile. "Is there a reason you are contacting me?"
"Indeed, there is a very important matter I would like to discuss with Lord Whis." As Old Supreme Kai spoke, he recounted everything Sun Wukong had told him to Whis, word for word.
Whis listened in silence.
Silence reigned for a moment.
"It seems the timeline that Mr. Sun Wukong spoke of must be a very peculiar one," Whis provided an answer quickly.
"Just as I suspected!" The Old Supreme Kai nodded, then asked with a grave expression, "It appears that in that timeline, there are no Gods of Destruction or Angels, and it seems Grand Zeno does not exist there either..."
"Yes, that is exactly the case," Whis replied. "Oh my, there are more timelines than there are hairs on the Old Supreme Kai's body; it is perfectly normal for many strange and unusual timelines to emerge."
The Old Supreme Kai: "..."
The hairs on my body?
Why don't you use your own body for the comparison?
"Ahem... has Lord Beerus awakened yet?" The Old Supreme Kai hurriedly changed the subject.
"Not yet," Whis shook his head. "Going by Lord Beerus's sleeping habits, he will likely sleep for at least another twenty years or so."
"So, that fellow called the Evil Dragon will not be born in our timeline, correct?" the Old Supreme Kai asked again.
"That is indeed the case," Whis nodded, then cautioned, "However, regarding the matter of Mr. Sun Wukong's rebirth, it is best not to let anyone else know... If this reaches the ears of Grand Zeno, he might erase him directly, or perhaps even wipe out the entire Universe 7."
"I... I understand. I won't speak of it to anyone," the Old Supreme Kai shivered uncontrollably.
Earth, the Lookout.
Sun Wukong utilized Instant Transmission, flickering back onto the surface of the Lookout.
"Wukong? Where did you go?" The Guardian hurried forward to ask.
"Ah... Lord Guardian... I took a trip to the Sacred World of the Kai to discuss some matters with the Supreme Kai," Sun Wukong scratched his head and replied.
"Kai... Lord Supreme Kai?" The Guardian's eyes widened in astonishment, his speech faltering, "I heard that the Supreme Kai is a greater deity than the King Kai! He must be the greatest god in this universe!"
"That's right!" Sun Wukong nodded, then shifted the topic, looking at the Guardian with a serious expression, "Lord Guardian, I suddenly remembered that it was you who helped me remove my tail back then, right?"
"That is indeed the case," the Guardian did not deny it.
"So, do you have a way to make my tail grow back?" Sun Wukong asked with a hint of excitement.
