Was this the battle between the God of Precepts and the Abyss from that day?

That was right. Naimus had taken part in the battlefield before him.

It was the very battle in which the God of Precepts had inexplicably launched an attack on the Abyss.

That day, the God of Precepts had led countless Prayer-Ascendant Angels to shatter the skies above the Ten-Thousand-Abyss Plains and arrive at the uppermost layer of the Abyss.

Then, using some kind of power, he had instantly flooded the entire region with holiness.

Great swathes of Demons died within that holiness, turning to ash as they were purified.

Even Formal Demons had only struggled a little longer.

Only high-ranking Demons were worthy of appearing on this battlefield.

Countless Prayer-Ascendant Angels fell from the sky like raindrops, then launched attacks against the remaining Demons on the ground.

Then came the collision between holy light and the Abyss's dark, bloody savagery.

At the time, Naimus had appeared here as a Prayer-Ascendant Angel.

However, if Naimus's memories had not been altered, the God of Precepts's assault should have been repelled soon afterward.

The real battle had then taken place in the Astral Realm.

The reason Naimus found this unfamiliar was because the situation was wrong.

"The God of Precepts actually held his ground this time!" Naimus had not seen that colossal Demon towering between heaven and earth before.

In other words, this "reappearance of the past" was a possibility in which the God of Precepts had seized an opportunity and moved the battlefield to the Ten-Thousand-Abyss Plains.

That was right. At this moment, Naimus could sense traces of history in his surroundings.

Clearly, the scene before him was not a false illusion, but history from the past recreated by the Will of the Abyss through some means.
