"Has the God of Precepts invaded the Abyss again?" Atata sensed the expanding shadows reach a certain point, then stop.

He could not help but freeze. As he carefully felt it out, he discovered a dense aura of Precepts.

That sensation, as though it wanted to contain all things within Precepts, was simply too familiar.

"Or has the God of Precepts fallen into the Abyss?" Atata could not quite understand it, but he also sensed an opportunity to leave the Plane Battlefield.

His attention had been focused on the battle between the Judges' squad and Black Cage Lord and Alaros.

As for the battle between Clown Emperor and that subordinate seemingly aided by the Moon God Church, he had only observed through the shadows without looking too closely.

He vaguely sensed violent dream fluctuations afterward and guessed that Clown Emperor's battle might have involved dreams.

He could not sense anything more than that.

Atata had not thought there was anything wrong with that perception.

It was only when that territory underwent a tremendous change, its rules transforming into rules similar to Precepts, that Atata awoke from that false perception.

He suddenly realized that he had never figured out exactly how Clown Emperor had died.

Nor had he figured out who had claimed Clown Emperor's position as lord!

This was the Plane Battlefield. Information capable of killing a lord was immensely important. He possessed the advantage of shadow observation, yet he had not paid it much attention!

That was the biggest problem.

It also made Atata want to retreat.

His shadows had already occupied quite a bit of territory, along with everything he had won before.

As long as he left combat, he could swiftly return to his 263rd layer with these considerable gains.
