"So this was my opportunity!" A Mudspot Mark appeared within Naimus's fate.
If he relied solely on his own abilities, Naimus had no chance at all against the strongest god in this world.
But the Mudspot Mark was different. Though incomplete—perhaps not even one-thousandth or one-ten-thousandth of a complete clay tablet—its essence was the strongest thing in this world, without equal.
Even the Sun God could only discover its existence through inexplicable fluctuations in fate, unable to pinpoint its exact location.
"What if I did this?" Naimus closed his eyes and carefully manipulated the Mudspot Mark's power of fate's protection, spreading it throughout his entire soul.
At once, the state in which the future had been filled with light changed.
The future was still full of various lights, but some information about it now leaked through as well.
Most conspicuous was a graveyard.
Naimus saw a grave pit within it. That pit seemed to possess a powerful attraction, making him feel as though he wanted to lie down inside it.
With a slight connection to fate, Naimus obtained the information.
That graveyard was the target of this journey—the place where Dartmenly had died, and where he had incurred the curse.
"The Land of Slumber..." As Naimus sensed the faintly transmitted information, realization dawned on him. He had to go there.
Only there could he find a way to escape the Sun God's control over his fate.
Otherwise, no matter where he went now, what methods he used, or how much further he developed the Mudspot Mark, he would be unable to escape the fate of being completely captured by the Sun God.
"Only, if I do this, I'll have to face not just the God of Precepts in the future, but the Sun God as well." Naimus continued making plans.
