Naimus's initial talent had been far inferior to that of the Goddess of Precepts. At most, he had been considered fairly gifted among the Golden Breed, with some talent for Swordsmanship and the potential to become a Sword Saint.
Yet it was precisely as his True Spirit was unsealed that Naimus's talent continuously improved.
Although Naimus's own efforts in learning had also been important, a large part of that learning ability had been supplied by the Flame of Progress within his True Spirit.
Without that flame, let alone completing his transformation from a Variant Demon into a world-class god in less than ten years, Naimus would have been fortunate if his mind from another world had been clever enough to let him reach the threshold of a Demon Lord.
Yet it was that very flame that drove Naimus's growth, constantly accelerating his progress.
Less than ten years—less than ten years!
For a god, ten years might have been no more than the time it took to take a nap, or to casually observe a stretch of someone else's life and enjoy herself a little.
Yet in that tiny span of time, Naimus had fallen into the Abyss and become a Demon, then climbed step by step to heights she could never reach.
