"Ah, Lord Hokage!"

Many medical ninjas bustled around the hall, all wearing white coats and white caps.

They were already swamped with work. When they saw the Third Hokage enter, they hurried over to greet him.

"There's no need for formalities. Yu, come with me and take a look at the medical room."

With that, the Third Hokage strode forward and pushed open the medical room door. Yu followed him inside.

Once they were through the door,

Yu saw nearly a hundred injured ninjas lying on white beds.

A dozen or so medical ninjas had faint green light glowing from their hands as they used the Healing Technique to treat the wounded.

"This is the medical room at the Ninja Hospital. They're all ninjas from our Konoha Medical Corps."

"These wounded ninjas were all brought back from the front yesterday."

The Third Hokage looked around and gave Yu a brief explanation in a grave voice.

Seeing so many Konoha ninjas wounded or killed naturally weighed heavily on the Third Hokage.

Yu nodded at that, then had a thought and walked over to a medical ninja treating a patient.

He glanced at the wounded person lying on the bed and said softly, "Let me give it a try."

"Try what?"

The medical ninja, who was concentrating on treating the patient, froze.

He looked up at Yu, who was only six or seven years old, and a hint of impatience crossed his face. "We're busy here! Go play somewhere else, kid. Don't get in the way while we're treating the wounded!"

"Let him try."

The medical ninja was just about to stop him when a deep, authoritative voice sounded. The Third Hokage stood nearby and gave him a slight nod.

"Lord Hokage!"

Only then did the medical ninja notice the Third Hokage's arrival, and he quickly stepped aside.

At the sight of this astonishing scene, the Third Hokage smiled with relief.

The medical ninjas in white coats around them all looked astonished.

"Who is that boy?!"

"That's the Mystical Palm Technique! It's an exceptionally advanced Medical Ninjutsu!"

"What happened? An injury that bad healed in an instant?!"

Seeing this boy of only six or seven use exceptionally advanced Medical Ninjutsu to heal an unconscious patient in the blink of an eye,

the medical ninjas around them were all left dumbfounded.

"Yu, assigning you to the Medical Corps couldn't have been a better choice."

Ignoring the astonished gazes of everyone present, the Third Hokage looked at Yu, who had displayed such remarkable talent in medical techniques, and smiled with satisfaction.

After seeing Yu demonstrate such remarkable Medical Ninjutsu, the medical ninjas in the room all looked curiously at the Third Hokage, hoping he would introduce the white-haired boy.

"Ahem, let me introduce him."

Seeing their expressions, the Third Hokage cleared his throat and began, "His name is Yakushi Hane. He just graduated from the Ninja Academy as a Genin."

"Starting today, I'll be assigning him to work alongside all of you in the Medical Corps."

After the Third Hokage introduced Yu, the medical ninjas in the room immediately began discussing him.

Clearly, after that unusual graduation exam, Yu's reputation as Konoha's number-one genius had become a favorite topic of conversation throughout the village.

"I'm Yakushi Hane. I look forward to working with you all."

Facing everyone's astonished looks, Yu stepped forward and gave a slight nod, his manners impeccable.

"All right, Yu."

"From today on, work hard here."

After arranging Yu's duties in the Medical Corps, the Third Hokage patted him on the shoulder with a serious expression. "Don't disappoint me."

"Don't worry, Lord Hokage."

Feeling the Third Hokage's hopeful gaze, Yu nodded silently and looked toward the Konoha Medical Corps, who had returned to their busy work.

Looks like I'll be spending quite a long time here from now on...

Time flew by, and before long, three months had passed.

"Rumble... Rumble..."

A constant din echoed from Konoha's training grounds in the mountains.

"Water Release: Hard Vortex Water Blade!"

With a low shout from Yu, a Vanishing Rasengan formed in the palm of his right hand.

As he infused it with a change in the nature of Water Release chakra, the roar of a tremendous torrent rang out.

The Vanishing Rasengan in Yu's hand changed violently. A highly compressed lance of water formed in his right hand.

It looked like a spiraling waterspout wrapped around his entire right hand, roaring incessantly. It was as though Yu were holding an entire compressed waterfall in his hand.

"Finally... It's complete!"

After three months of grueling training, the S-rank jutsu known as the ultimate Water Release was finally complete in his hands.

Excitement flashed in Yu's amber eyes as he hurled the roaring high-pressure water lance away with all his strength.

"Boom!"

The earth-shaking impact left Yu stunned.

As soon as the high-pressure water lance left his hand, it expanded in an instant, forming a colossal waterspout.

It sucked in the surrounding trees and earth, pulverized them, then flung the debris back out!

"This... What terrifying power!"

Even Yu couldn't help being startled by the devastation caused by his newly completed jutsu.

Its power looked even more outrageous than the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken Naruto had completed in the original story.

"Honestly, you're impossible... You really did manage to complete this jutsu, didn't you?"

Without warning, the Demon's voice sounded in Yu's ear.
