Yu had politely declined. Knowing Yu's true abilities, the Third Hokage hadn't objected and had agreed to let him take the Chunin Ninja Exams alone.

Yu quickly scribbled down his answers, finishing the test in a few strokes. In less than ten minutes, he stood up, handed his paper to the examiner, and left the room.
His sudden departure drew the attention of the Genin in the exam room, who had all been racking their brains over the questions.
