Celestial Venerable summoned the Immortal Venerable from Kunlun Mountains after Liu Feng shattered the terrestrial-grade Heavenly Mechanism Disk and destroyed the Nine-Bend Yellow River Formation. His arrival manifested as a towering aura that churned and scattered the sea of clouds. 227

During the Kunlun Mountains battle, he treated Yang Chen as insignificant but remained wary of Liu Feng, recognizing Liu Feng's strength despite Liu Feng being at the Nine Steps of Creation. He fought Liu Feng's dragon and tiger while monitoring Liu Feng's preparations. 228 229

Liu Feng invoked the Human Emperor's phantom through the Great Creation Palm. The Immortal Venerable recognized the Human Emperor's unforgettable aura and was immobilized beneath the golden palm imprint. His source power was subsequently taken, with Liu Feng directing Yang Chen to refine it to strengthen his foundation for the Heaven Ascension Realm. 229 230
