Background and History
Viola is King Riku's daughter. When the Donquixote Family approaches Dressrosa, she spots its ship from the palace and identifies Doflamingo's flag. She then monitors the harbor battle for her father as Kyros fights the invaders 67 70.
After Doflamingo seizes Dressrosa, Viola joins his family to protect King Riku, Kyros, and their allies. She serves as a lookout. A year later, she sees that her father is safe and that citizens have gained work at the new weapons workshops, though her position began under coercion 72 74.
When Gray leaves the Donquixote Family, he requests Viola's surveillance ability and arranges to take the Riku family with him. She subsequently travels with his new organization, Fairy Tail 93 95 108.
Personality
Viola is protective of her family and dutiful in her surveillance work: she warns Doflamingo when an unknown Azure Dragon approaches Dressrosa, then later verifies King's flight path before alerting Gray 74 101. She is initially unsure of her value on a dangerous escort mission, but Gray's display of power encourages her to grow stronger 79 80. Dancing is a passion she performs with confidence 96.
