  • Morgans began broadcasting the battlefield worldwide while Gray assigned Fairy Tail members to confront the Admirals, Five Elders, and CP0 agents.
  • Gray, Issho, and the others opened fire on the fleet, and Yamato and Hancock’s combined Hakoku shattered Aramaki’s Wood Giant and damaged a ship.

Ch. 151The World Government on the Verge of Defeat

Gray defeated Saint Fado and brought him to Kuma, then left Enel and Kuma to fight Aokiji while he surveyed the remaining battlefields. He judged Fairy Tail’s forces to be winning most fights and flew to help Issho against Saint Marcus.

  • Gray blocked Aokiji from rescuing Saint Fado, whom Kuma then dealt with, and left Enel and Kuma to keep Aokiji occupied.
  • Gray surveyed the battlefields and found Hancock and Yamato battered but holding out, while Kizaru, Monet, Sugar, Baby 5, Wiper, Kyros, and Fairy Tail’s lower ranks had varying advantages.
  • Gray noted that Hawkins was being beaten by Kaku and Mr. 1 while Urouge was gaining strength against Onigumo, and that Fairy Tail held the advantage in most mid-tier fights.
  • Gray decided the other battles should be finished quickly so their winners could reinforce the mid-tier fighters, then head to the New World after confirming Sengoku’s death.
  • Gray flew to Issho’s battlefield, where Saint Marcus had driven Issho back with Advanced Conqueror’s Haki, and Issho counterattacked using gravity and his sword.

Ch. 153The Battle at Impel Down

After resting, Gray decided to head to the New World battlefield and recruit Vegapunk, while also arranging to remove the World Government from Vegapunk’s hometown.

  • Zephyr, Gion, Tokikake, Smoker, and the other Neo Marines engaged Shiki, Redfield, Bullet, Shiryu, and the escaped prisoners at Impel Down.

  • After considering the World Government’s reinforcements, Gray decided to visit the New World battlefield and seek out Vegapunk at Punk Hazard.
  • Gray instructed Monet to take the Fairy Tail members and Green Bit somewhere remote, and sent A Smile to clear the World Government’s forces from Baldimore and move the island to Sky Island.

  • Akainu and Saint Peter reinforced Impel Down, forcing Shiki to escape, while the Revolutionary Army attacked Mary Geoise and Crow glimpsed Imu before fleeing injured.
  • Gray reached Punk Hazard, blocked Den Den Mushi transmissions, raised the island, and defeated the CP Agents at Vegapunk’s research base.
  • Gray told Vegapunk and Caesar he meant them no harm for now, then explained that rising sea levels would destroy farmland and leave survivors facing starvation.

Ch. 155Vegapunk and Stussy

Gray recruited Vegapunk and Caesar into Fairy Tail and freed Stussy from her undercover role, then learned about the World Government’s Pluton project and Vegapunk’s failed attempt to replicate Devil Fruits. The group headed back to discuss the research, with Gray asking to see the replicated Azure Dragon Fruit.

  • Gray promised to protect Baldimore and offered Vegapunk and Caesar resources and freedom to research, and both joined Fairy Tail.
  • Gray moved Punk Hazard toward Sky Island, and Vegapunk revealed that Stussy had infiltrated the CPO to help him escape.

  • Gray brought Caesar and Vegapunk to Fairy Tail’s Sky Island base, where they examined the White-White Sea before Gray left for the North Blue.
  • Monet’s group encountered Germa 66, whose emotionless clone soldiers attacked them; Hancock, Monet, and Enel fought back while Monet hurried to protect Vinsmoke Reiju.
  • Reiju recognized Fairy Tail’s members and went to fetch Judge after Monet told her the attackers’ actions had provoked them.
  • Judge came out with Reiju and his sons, but Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji donned their Raid Suits and charged at Enel and the others as Judge tried to stop them.

Ch. 158The Grand Finale

Enel and Monet forced Judge to accept a trial for Germa 66 and brought Reiju into Fairy Tail, while Imu prepared to rebuild the World Government’s strength. Gray later turned away from the world’s conflicts, and after Imu’s death he led Fairy Tail toward the Moon to pursue further exploration.

  • Enel struck down Niji, Yonji, and Ichiji, and Judge begged Fairy Tail to spare Germa 66.
  • Monet offered Germa 66 a chance to join Fairy Tail if it mapped the North Blue’s resource islands within six months, and Judge agreed to send Reiju to Fairy Tail’s main base.
  • The Five Elders apologized to Imu, who accepted their explanation of Gray’s power and ordered the clans’ Devil Fruit vaults opened in preparation for a future attack.
  • Gray returned to Green Bit, approved Monet’s handling of Germa 66, and considered helping Reiju obtain the Venom-Venom Fruit after she proved herself.
  • Gray traveled with Fairy Tail, found Pure Gold with Baccarat’s help, and later watched the Straw Hat Pirates challenge the World Government while staying out of the conflict.
  • After Imu died and Luffy’s lifespan was greatly shortened, Gray took Fairy Tail’s remaining members to the Moon to build a second base and pursue interstellar exploration.
