From their positioning, Lin Tian could roughly analyze their hierarchy.
Undoubtedly, the golden-eyed man standing closest to him at the front, dressed in black robes and exuding majesty, held the highest status among them.
Next to the black-robed man, standing slightly behind him, was a holy woman dressed in a verdant green gown, her hair cascading like a waterfall down to her waist.
Following her was a burly man of about forty, wearing a black tank top that exposed his robust muscles.
Then came a middle-aged man in dark green robes, carrying a faint scent of wood.
Beside him was a bewitching young woman. Lin Tian's gaze lingered on her the longest, as her body was covered in a layer of fine scales, leaving a large expanse of snow-white skin exposed across her chest.
Lin Tian struggled to tear his eyes away, looking instead at a burly man with red hair, dressed in striking red athletic gear.
Standing at the very end was an eerie, handsome youth in black attire.
The moment Lin Tian broke from his shell, a faint dragon might permeated the air. However, everyone present was a powerful soul beast; they naturally ignored the dragon might emitted by a hatchling that wasn't even a ten-year soul beast.
Feeling this might, the soul beasts were all startled. The bloodline intensity of the hatchling before them was definitely no lower than Di Tian's.
The bewitching woman, Zi Ji, felt it most clearly. As a Hell Dragon King herself, being of the same dragon race, the pressure she endured was far greater than that of the other soul beasts.
She had never felt such rich dragon might even from Di Tian; perhaps only their Lord could surpass him.
Zi Ji decided that she would definitely walk around Lin Tian in the future and never cross paths with him.
"Let's disperse. I am taking him to see the Lord," Di Tian said with a wave of his hand.
The more Lin Tian looked at the seven people before him, the more... familiar they seemed. He felt he knew what kind of world he was in.
Combining their attire with the "Lord" mentioned by the leading man, he feared he had transmigrated into the world of Douluo Continent: the golden-eyed Di Tian, the holy Bi Ji, the rebellious Xiong Jun, the wood-scented King of Myriad Demons, the bewitching Zi Ji, the Three-Headed Red Demon Mastiff radiating scorching heat, and the eerie, handsome Yao Ling.
Lin Tian didn't know if this was good or bad. It was good that he didn't have to worry about being erased for lacking inherited memories; it was bad that he had transmigrated into a soul beast, and the God Realm had explicit rules that soul beasts could not become gods.
But I can still take human form, right? If there's no godhood inheritance, I'll just gather faith and create my own godhood.
Lin Tian comforted himself in his heart.
Then, another serious question occurred to him: what era was this?
"Douluo I, Douluo I, Douluo I..."
"Don't be Douluo II, don't be Douluo II, don't be Douluo II..."
"Even if it's before Douluo I, that's fine, just please don't let it be the period after Tang San has already become a god."
He prayed in his heart; if it were Douluo II, that would truly be a disastrous start.
While Lin Tian prayed, Di Tian had already brought him beneath the Lake of Life, into the space where Gu Yuena was recuperating.
He looked forward and saw a girl of about seventeen or eighteen, with silver hair, purple eyes, and a breathtakingly beautiful face, sitting on an ice couch.
Lin Tian swore this was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. As a wealthy young master in his past life, he had seen many peerless beauties, yet none could compare to even a ten-thousandth of the girl before him.
Gu Yuena, having taken human form, looked at the black dragon floating beside Di Tian with a hint of scrutiny in her eyes.
"He does not belong to this world, nor does he belong to the God Realm."
After a moment of scrutiny, Gu Yuena spoke indifferently.
Gu Yuena's words were shocking, nearly causing Lin Tian to fall to the ground. Fortunately, he steadied himself in time, flying around the space like an ordinary, unintelligent soul beast.
Di Tian asked, "Then, Lord, will he be an asset to the revival of our soul beast clan?"
Hearing this, Lin Tian's heart jumped into his throat. He did not doubt for a second that if Gu Yuena said no, he would be crushed by Di Tian immediately.
"That super-divine power held no malice. It simply sent this little one to our side; he will certainly become an indispensable part of our soul beast clan's revival."
Gu Yuena smiled rarely. She reached out with her slender, fair hand, drew Lin Tian toward her, and stroked him gently.
"This little one's attributes are very similar to yours. You shall guide him from now on."
After carefully sensing Lin Tian's attributes, Gu Yuena instructed Di Tian.
"Yes, Lord."
Di Tian had long since perceived Lin Tian's attributes—Darkness and Annihilation—which were indeed extremely similar to his own.
Just as Gu Yuena stroked Lin Tian, a colorful mark appeared on his dragon head.
"Lord!"
Di Tian exclaimed.
"It is fine. My injuries will not heal in the short term anyway; it is merely casting a Silver Dragon Blessing on him. It is of no consequence."
Silver Dragon Blessing?
Lin Tian enjoyed Gu Yuena's touch while pondering in his heart. He had never heard of this blessing and didn't know what it did.
However, he soon found out, as he felt six elemental powers belonging to Gu Yuena emerge within his body, in addition to his original Ultimate Darkness and Ultimate Annihilation attributes.
After doing this, Gu Yuena seemed even weaker, her already fair skin turning deathly pale.
"I need to heal. Take this little one out." Gu Yuena transformed back into a giant silver dragon and spoke in a human voice.
"Yes."
Di Tian took Lin Tian and carried him away from the bottom of the Lake of Life.
After Di Tian left, the Silver Dragon King spoke once more, "I hope you will lead the soul beast clan back to the God Realm."
There was one extremely important matter she had not told Di Tian: in truth, there was a seal within Lin Tian's body, a seal that suppressed the majority of his bloodline power.
What he had displayed so far was only one-third of his total bloodline power, yet even that was on par with her own. One could only imagine how potent his bloodline would be without that seal; it was likely that even the Dragon God of old could not compare to him.
As her words faded, the Silver Dragon King slowly closed her eyes, falling back into a deep slumber to recover from her injuries.
Above the Lake of Life.
The moment he left that space, Lin Tian's stomach began to growl, which suddenly reminded him of something.
It seemed that dragons ate their own eggshells after hatching. He had been too busy observing the Seven Great Beast Kings and had then been whisked away by Di Tian.
My egg!
Lin Tian roared inwardly, looking up at the sky.
Di Tian seemed to grasp Lin Tian's intent; from somewhere, he produced the eggshells that belonged to Lin Tian and placed them beside the Lake of Life.
Seeing this, Lin Tian flew over rapidly, but upon reaching the eggshells, he fell into deep thought.
Can I really eat an eggshell this hard?
If you can't figure something out, just try it with your teeth.
Lin Tian slowly stepped forward, his sharp fangs easily biting a small piece off the shell. After chewing it carefully for a moment, his eyes lit up, and he could no longer restrain himself, tucking into the feast with gusto.
During the process, he did not forget to take a sip of the water from the Lake of Life.
