Xiao Wu nodded. She knew Tang San understood what she meant. Her words had eased his gloom, and in an instant, he saw the way forward.

Down in the mortal world, Lin Yi had no idea what the husband and wife, Tang San and Xiao Wu, were plotting in the Divine Realm. His full attention was on his new Martial Soul.

"Brother Li, has the Alliance Leader woken up?"
Li Dongcheng arrived outside Lin Yi's room just as Pei Qinhu was coming out. At his question, Pei Qinhu shook his head and sighed.
"Half a year has already passed. The Alliance Leader's vitality is strong, but there's still no sign he'll wake up. What did that Five-Clawed Golden Dragon do to him? How could the Alliance Leader, who'd already broken through level 100, be so badly injured?"

"A-a few hours? Alliance Leader, you've been unconscious for half a year!"
"Half a year?!"
Lin Yi couldn't believe what he was hearing. He hadn't spent much time in the spiritual world at all. How had half a year passed while he was out?
"It's true. We've been worried about you this whole time, afraid something might happen."
