The short version:

This book is going on hiatus. I'll launch a new book on Friday. The characters' personalities will stay mostly the same, but the timeline will jump ahead a few years, taking the protagonist from the original age of six to over ten.

Readers who are interested in what happens next can check out the new book posted under the same account on Friday night. I'd like to offer my heartfelt thanks to everyone who's followed along, voted with monthly tickets, given tips, or cast recommendation tickets—and apologize to you all.

The specific reason:

This book drew a decent number of readers early on, but far too few stuck around. If I keep writing, I'll just be doing it for love, with no money to show for it. Over the past two days, I've been reviewing the book while updating it, and I think the problem is that its plot moves too slowly compared with other fanfics.

In other fanfics, the protagonist starts out as a Titled Douluo and gets straight into satisfying battles. At the very least, they have Soul Power above level thirty or forty. The main plot unfolds quickly, and they frequently interact with popular characters from the original work.

But in my book, the protagonist is still only a two-ring Soul Master after eighty thousand words. There have only been three major plotlines in total: hunting for a soul ring, saving Ye Guyi, and crossing paths with the Hongchen Family.

Not a single popular character from the original work has appeared, and a great deal of the book has been spent depicting the protagonist's relationships with Mavuika and Columbina, dragging the plot along far too slowly.

So, after much soul-searching, I've decided to give the protagonist a higher starting Soul Power Level in my next book and speed up the main plot. The eighty thousand words written so far can serve as the backstory for the new book, and most of its plot details will remain consistent with this one. For example, Ye Guyi will be at the protagonist's side from the start, Meng Hongchen will have feelings for the protagonist, and after studying it for a while, Xuan Ziwen will successfully build a Chilun Vehicle that Mavuika won't be able to put down...

I'm quite fond of what happens later in the new book, and I'll do my best to make sure you all enjoy it, too. During these three days without updates, I'll work as quickly as I can to plan out the new book, so I can give you all the best reading experience.
