After leaving Lungmen, the convoy headed straight toward the abandoned mobile fortress.
Halfway there, Chen surveyed the surroundings and asked,
"Wait, aren't we going to Chernobog?"
"Chernobog is naturally our final destination, but before that, we need to make a stop here."
Doctor took out a map and pointed to an uninhabited area.
"According to our intelligence, this is a Reunion Movement transit point located between Lungmen and Chernobog. If we leave it in Reunion's hands, then once we attack Chernobog, the officers here can immediately mobilize their subordinates and cut off our retreat from behind. If our attack suffers setbacks or reaches a stalemate, we'll end up caught in a sandwich with cheese."
As a senior Lungmen inspector who had spent years on the front lines fighting crime, Chen naturally understood this. It was just that news of Talulah had occupied her mind earlier, so she had completely missed Doctor's arrangements.
"Dr. Kal'tsit said Rhodes Island will send two squads from Rhodes Island to meet us at the ruins."
Amiya timely relayed the message she had just received through the communications terminal.
"Who's coming?"
"Saria's squad and Sharp Squad. In addition, reserve squads A1, A4, and A6 will bring supplies behind us to provide resupply and rescue support for the battles ahead," Amiya quickly answered.
Doctor nodded. Though he had never personally commanded them, Kal'tsit's intelligence said that both squads specialized in assault operations. The former excelled at defense, while the latter excelled at offense, making them a perfect fit for this operation.
"Good. Contact both squads as soon as possible. If everything goes according to plan at the ruins, we won't need to take the place by force."
After giving Amiya her instructions, Doctor closed his eyes and began reviewing everything that had happened since he awakened, along
