Tang Wulin studies and trains at East Sea Academy alongside Xie Xie. Before the Class Promotion Tournament, he maintains a demanding daily training routine despite exhaustion. Xiao Mu anticipates that an incoming typhoon will trigger the Golden Dragon King seal within him. 11

He accepts Xiao Mu's high-precision parts commission at the East Sea Blacksmith Association. The requested components permit no more than a 0.005-millimeter error, a standard that makes Tang Wulin uncertain but determined to succeed. 13

During the Class Promotion Tournament, Tang Wulin returns in time to fight for Class Five. He faces Na'er, whose superior cultivation and spear technique repeatedly suppress him, but the Golden Dragon King power manifests as scales and claws on his right arm. 19 20 He later combines efforts with Gu Yue and Xie Xie against Xiao Mu, but Xiao Mu absorbs the force of his Golden Dragon Claw and eliminates him with a released shockwave. 21

Tang Wulin is diligent and determined, continuing strenuous training even when exhausted and returning late to the Class Promotion Tournament rather than abandoning his team. 11 19
