Ten thousand years before the present story, the sect supported the victorious side against Spirit Hall. It lost two Titled Douluos in that conflict, received no benefits after the coalition disbanded, and saw its ancestral grounds reduced to rubble. Rebuilding its foundation to its former Spirit Hall-era level took three thousand years. 5

Following the war, the sect was subjected to restrictions intended to curb its development while the Tang Sect expanded.
