Background / History

Qian Daoliu was the previous Pope of Spirit Hall and a powerful veteran Titled Douluo whose reappearance at Qian Xunji's wedding alarms the Upper Three Sects. He had remained out of public view for more than thirty years, yet observers note that his life aura is still exceptionally strong. 12

He is the father of Qian Xunji and Qian Mochen. Although he recognizes Qian Xunji as having awakened the Seraphim martial soul, he repeatedly finds his elder son inadequate compared with Mochen. He supports Mochen's takeover of Spirit Hall's authority and praises his youngest son's judgment, cultivation, and plans for reform. 2 20
