Background

Qing Yanjing is a direct descendant of the Futuo Ancient Clan’s Qing Lineage, sent to the Dou Qi Continent as part of a lower-plane trial connected to her future inheritance. Her parents are Qing Feng and Qing Qiu, while Qing Xuan is the Qing Lineage elder who later identifies her publicly as his granddaughter. 292 314 315

At twelve, Qing Yanjing became a Dou Zhe and awakened rare light-attributed Dou Qi. Before her family could find a suitable cultivation method, her relatives began dying one after another. Qing Yanjing first notices Zhang Yuan at Two-Dragon Pass while traveling with the Myriad Books Pavilion caravan. After her pavilion is destroyed and Meng Xing dies, she accepts Zhang Yuan’s invitation to remain by his side.
