Background / History

Tang San is the younger son of Tang Hao and Ah Yin, and Tang Xiao’s younger brother. Unlike Tang Xiao, he was raised as Tang Hao’s favored child and later inherited the Sea God’s position. He founded the Tang Sect, gathering the four single-attribute clans and relying on hidden weapons, divine protection, and his own power. 3 23

He initially considers Tang Hao a powerful and admirable father. After Tang Hao’s past abandonment of Tang Xiao is exposed, Tang San is shaken and feels betrayed, though he continues caring for his injured father after Tang Xiao defeats him. 35 36

Personality

Tang San is intensely ambitious and convinced that divine power places him above mortal opponents. He repeatedly predicts that he will claim the strongest position in the world and dismisses powerful soul masters and soul beasts as inferior to gods. 17 18 23

His confidence deteriorates into jealousy, resentment, and obsession after the Golden Ranking reveals hidden powerhouses and Tang Xiao defeats him. He becomes especially hostile toward soul beasts receiving Heavenly Dao rewards and seeks the Asura God inheritance specifically to surpass Tang Xiao. 8 36 39 41
