Background / History

Years before the main conflict, Qian Renxue met Tang Xiao in a remote tavern while she was uncertain about her origins and future. They concealed their identities, travelled the Douluo Continent together, and fought side by side. Their relationship culminated in marriage during a stormy night in a wooden cabin; they later separated to fulfill their respective responsibilities. 2

At some point during her godhood ceremony, Tang Xiao intervened in the Angel Holy Temple and stopped Qian Daoliu from sacrificing his life to open her path to godhood. Tang Xiao declared himself her husband and promised to give her something better; Qian Daoliu survived, but lost his martial soul and soul power. 10

As the Spirit Hall Empire defended Jialing Pass against the Heaven Dou forces, Qian Renxue worried that Tang San's godhood and potential Heavenly Dao rewards would shift the war further against her side. She wrote to Tang Xiao about the deadlocked battle and her longing to see him again. 2 3

When the Blue Silver Empire was announced as the world's top-ranked power, Qian Renxue recognized the Sun Moon Continent as Tang Xiao's homeland. She felt pride and relief that her husband had built a force surpassing both Tang Sect and the Star Dou Great Forest. 5

The Sky Screen's account of Tang Hao's battle with Qian Xunji convinced Qian Renxue that Tang Hao had critically injured her father. She resolved to fight both Tang Hao and Tang San while defending Spirit Hall. 25 29

At Jialing Pass, Qian Renxue fought Tang San directly but was badly injured and driven back. Tang Xiao arrived, healed her with Blue Silver Supreme divine power, and took over the battle. 32 33 36

Following Tang Xiao's victory, she supported his plan to incorporate Spirit Hall into the Blue Silver Empire, while hoping its legacy and her mother would be spared. Bibi Dong ultimately surrendered the empire for its citizens and Qian Renxue's happiness, prompting Qian Renxue to sincerely call her “Mother” for the first time. 34 36 37
