• Dugu Bo agreed to attempt condensing a Soul Core after Cheng Xiao and Ye Renxin explained how it might help with his poison and cultivation, and Spirit Hall announced Cheng Xiao as Saint Son.
• Dugu Bo forced his toxins into his soul bones and reached level ninety-two, while Cheng Xiao expanded his Shadow Legion and tested it against Soul Beasts.
• Qian Renxue confronted Cheng Xiao, but he convinced her that he had discovered her identity through investigation and discussed helping her oppose Bibi Dong.

• Di Tian imprisoned Cheng Xiao, but Tian Meng tried to help him escape, and the Silver Dragon King awakened within him as Cheng Xiao entered a trial to claim the Shadow throne.
