Ning Rongrong was raised in luxury as the little princess of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, one of the Upper Three Sects and the wealthiest sect on the continent. Her father, Ning Fengzhi, focused on sect affairs, while “Grandpa Sword” and “Grandpa Bone” indulged her but treated her as a child. Bored by her protected life, she repeatedly considered running away from home. 26

Her plans changed when a copy of Su Yun’s Diary appeared beside her bed. Initially pleased by its praise of her appearance and status, she became furious when Su Yun described her as spoiled, arrogant, and only barely suitable for his “fishpond.” Believing the diary’s arrival signified a greater destiny, she packed wealth, defensive Soul Tools, clothing, and supplies before leaving for Suotuo City to confront him. 26
