Jing Chen built up the Reincarnation Shop’s strength while Shrek Academy investigated its role in the deaths of its enforcers. When Shrek’s experts attacked, Yi Yi and the other soul beasts killed several of them, leaving Shrek weakened as Jing Chen collected their soul bones and prepared for further conflict.

• Jing Chen enrolled at Tian Ling Advanced Soul Master Academy without attending classes, while Ma Ming opened the Reincarnation Shop in Wu Ling City and sold out its automobile pre-orders.
• Shrek enforcers Hong Yun and Fan Sen investigated Jing Chen’s manor, but Yi Yi and Little White killed them after Jing Chen exposed their purpose.
• Shrek sent more experts to Wu Ling City, where Yi Yi and the other soul beasts fought Xuan Zi, Elder Song, and their companions while concealing their identities as long as they could.
• Yi Yi killed Elder Li, Wang Kuan, He Wei, Hao Yunping, Elder Song, Xuan Zi, and Zhou Ning, while Little White, Ice King, and the Ice Crystal Turtle King fought off the other Shrek experts.
• Yan Shaozhe and Xian Lin'er escaped after Yi Yi spared them, and Luo Ji kept the Dou Ling Empire neutral while repairing the battle damage in Wu Ling City.
• Jing Chen learned that Shrek had lost several powerful experts and warned that it would likely attack again as the Snow Empress returned to cultivation.
• Jing Chen entered the Time and Space Divine Tower with Yi Yi and recovered fourteen soul bones taken from five of the defeated Shrek soul masters.

Jing Chen used the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger’s supposed link to the Evil God to secure the Dou Ling Empire’s support and turn public opinion against Shrek Academy. Shrek retaliated politically while Jing Chen expanded the Reincarnation Shop and strengthened its partnership with the empire.

• Jing Chen convinced Luo Ji that the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger might represent the Evil God, then admitted to Ice King that he had fabricated the claim about Yi Yi contacting the deity.
• Luo Ji brought Jing Chen and Ice King to Ling Dou City, where the Dou Ling Emperor agreed to support the Reincarnation Shop after Yi Yi appeared and spoke to the court.
• The Dou Ling Empire spread the story that Yi Yi was a divine beast seeking an inheritor, while Mu En concealed Shrek Academy’s losses and accused the Reincarnation Shop of sheltering shapeshifted Soul Beasts.
• Jing Chen persuaded the Dou Ling Emperor to publicize Shrek Academy’s role in the conflict, and news of the deaths of Shrek’s Titled Douluo discouraged factions from hunting Yi Yi.
• Du Busi led the Body Sect to Shrek City to test its strength, but Mu En confronted him and forced him to withdraw.
• Shrek Academy tried to break the Dou Ling Empire’s alliance with the Reincarnation Shop, while Mu En sought Long Xiaoyao’s help against Yi Yi and was refused.
• Jing Chen negotiated a seventy-thirty profit split for the Soul Tool Automobile partnership, returned to Wu Ling City, and arranged to open Reincarnation Shop branches in ten cities.
• Shrek City imposed restrictions on Dou Ling merchants and reduced the empire’s academy admissions, while Jing Chen told the Dou Ling Emperor that departing soul masters might not be a bad thing.
