The lineage seeks a secure future beyond human hunting and divine restrictions. Holy Bird Planet—an inhabited world with no humans, where soul beasts live under Star Dragon Sanctuary protection—becomes a powerful example of the sanctuary’s potential acceptance of soul beasts 107.

Divisions and alliances

• Land and ocean soul beasts are treated as distinct groups; ocean soul beasts traditionally follow the Sea God and do not usually participate in land-based soul beast affairs 141.
• Gu Yuena considers recruiting the Demon Empress because of her hostility toward Sea God Tang San, though Di Tian hesitates after witnessing the Demon Empress’s future use of soul beast blood in the Blood River God-Slaying Array 141 142.

Future of the Lineage

The Sky Screen projects that the loss of access to divine inheritances will drive humanity toward Soul Spirit research. Soul beast habitat will shrink drastically, with the Star Dou Great Forest reduced to less than one ten-thousandth of its former area and the total soul beast population falling below one ten-thousandth of its previous level 172.

In response, Gu Yuena will infiltrate human society through her divided identities, Gu Yue and Na’er, to understand humanity and target the Spirit Pagoda’s research 173. Using the Dragon God Core and the Ten Thousand Beast Platform, she will develop artificial ten-thousand-year Soul Spirits, recreate extinct species, and revive the soul beast lineage 174.
