Section 60: The Dragon Emperor Acts, The World Descends into Chaos

Great Wilderness Kingdom, a hidden cave in an unnamed mountain valley.

Rainbow clouds filled the sky, vast and surging. An emperor-level spiritual pressure had been compressed within a radius of a hundred paces, nearly solidifying the very air.

A remarkably burly middle-aged man sat cross-legged on the ground. His eyes were closed, and both hands supported a mountain peak. With a lion-like mouth and broad nose, his face was illuminated by nine-colored rays, making him resemble a colossal divine being.

As time passed, the rosy light grew ever more intense, shifting through countless transformations. It dyed this ordinary cave in colors as dreamlike as an illusion.

Yet the mountain in the man's hands shrank smaller and smaller, while its tremors grew increasingly violent.

Finally, when the mountain had shrunk to the size of a rice bowl, it abruptly stilled. The sky-piercing rainbow glow it had emitted also vanished with a thunderous burst.

The cave returned to its former deep, secluded darkness.

But suddenly, the man snapped open his eyes, and two golden flames lit up in the darkness.

"Hahaha! After forty-nine days and nights without sleep or rest, I have finally completely subdued Mount Li. Night Emperor, when I see you again, I'll let you taste the might of me, the Dragon Emperor!" The man threw back his head and laughed. His voice boomed like a great bell, and the surging sound waves echoed through the cave for a long while.
