• Mystic Tortoise and the other elders discovered that Meteor Island held a vast landscape and ancient wonders, then brought Bao Yun to Ye Lin, who let him stay without special treatment.
• Ye Lin learned that his master had arranged a match with Nangong Yue, but he rejected the idea, and Nangong Yue arrived, tested him, declared him her Dao companion, and moved in next door.
• The Spirit King invited Ye Lin to the Dragon Lair, where Ye Lin met Ning Yi and learned through his insight that Ning Yi would find Long Sheng’s Egg beneath the third waterfall.
• Ye Lin and Ning Yi entered the Dragon Lair, explored the Dragon Clan’s ancient homeland, and collected treasures, including two drops of True Dragon blood each.
• Ye Lin searched the wasteland alone, fought and destroyed seven resentful True Dragon souls, and found three living dragon eggs in their hidden cavern.

Ye Lin inherited the Dragon Clan’s divine art, refined True Dragon blood to remake his body, and began building Dao Sword City as a gathering place for sword cultivators. Pure Yangzi granted him the surrounding land and secured a shop for the Pure Yang Sect, while Ye Lin kept management for someone else he had in mind.

• Ye Lin gained the Ten Thousand Dragons Incinerate Heaven Art, accepted a debt to the Dragon Clan, and left the Dragon Lair with Ning Yi after receiving True Dragon blood from Xiao Dang.
• The Spirit King explained the feud between the Heaven-Devouring Toad Clan and the Mystic Soul Dragon Clan, and Ye Lin returned to Meteor Island and boiled the Dragon eggs he had found.
• Ning Yi learned from the Mystic Soul Dragon Clan chief that an insurmountable death tribulation awaited him, and the chief urged him to seek Ye Lin’s help.
• Ye Lin refined all twelve drops of True Dragon blood, enduring the destruction and remaking of his body until his strength and physical resilience greatly increased.
• Ye Lin claimed an empty mountain and constructed Dao Sword City with defensive walls, sword formations, arenas, a Lecture Platform, a Dao Platform, and other sites for sword cultivators.

The formation began separating the nine Arenas from the continent as the city’s hundred-year wait for its opening continued.

• Ye Lin asked Spirit King to help protect Dao Sword City, and Spirit King toured its sword formations, arenas, and other sites before adding Sword Walker’s Broken Sword and sword relics to the Sword Pool.
• Ye Lin announced that Dao Sword City would open to sword cultivators in a hundred years, and Spirit King discovered that the Lecture Platform’s green jade could aid even Ninth Heaven Quasi-Saints.
• Ye Lin arranged for the Great Elder of the Pure Yang Sect to settle in the city and sought formation materials and administrators from the Great Blade Association.
• Ye Lin traveled to the association’s Eastern Region headquarters, where Elder Xuan agreed to visit Dao Sword City in a month and guard it for ten thousand years if it impressed him.
• Liu San gathered most of the formation materials, and Ye Lin obtained the remaining three from the Origin Chamber of Commerce before returning to the city.

After helping the Mystic Soul Dragon and Heaven-Devouring Toad clans agree to peace, he began managing the crowds as the city’s teaching and training sites attracted cultivators.

• Li Bo and Wang Yu completed the Grand Dao formation’s foundation, binding its nine arenas to a ball of Chaotic light, and began the long work of perfecting it.
• Ye Lin recruited Sword Demon and Blade Fanatic to guard Dao Sword City, while Elder Xuan arrived, explored the Sword Pool, and agreed to stay after discovering the bluestone’s benefits.
• Ning Yi asked Ye Lin about his predicted death, and Ye Lin warned that fate could be difficult to change and that Ning Yi would die because of another.
• Li Bing arranged shops for arriving factions, and after decades of preparation Ye Lin opened Dao Sword City to the waiting cultivators.
• The Mystic Soul Dragon Clan’s Ning Po and the Heaven-Devouring Toad Clan’s Luo Yan agreed to end their feud, with Ye Lin witnessing their rule that whoever attacked first would be at fault.
• Ye Lin toured the crowded city’s arena, lecture and debate platforms, and Sword Pool, then assigned Li Bing to set entry fees based on cultivators’ strength.
• Elder Xuan finished a sword Dao lesson, and a red-haired cultivator stepped forward to teach his own research as Quasi-Saints and Daluo Golden Immortals listened.
