Back at Nameless Mountain, Ye Lin addressed the mistreatment of Ye Buqu, assigned Mo Wuji to protect him, and summoned the sect members to present their chosen successor.

• Ye Lin joined Lin Ping and the cultivators in attacking the Heavenly Dao, endured its trial, and collected a limited share of its Origin.
• Ye Lin brought Mo Wuji to Nameless Mountain and used rare materials and the Heavenly Dao Origin to create an avatar, splitting his divine soul to animate it.
• The new avatar named himself Wu Wang, while Ye Lin checked on his other avatars and learned Sword Eight from a stone stele.

Ye Lin infiltrated the Outer Realm Heavenly Demons’ stronghold to investigate the half-finger that had empowered Li Yixian, seized several treasures, and absorbed the finger to advance. He returned to Nameless Mountain as Li Yixian prepared to become Sect Master, while the gathered True Lords hid the injuries they had suffered from a black-clad attacker.

• Ye Lin agreed to support Li Yixian’s succession, announced he would leave Nameless Mountain, and asked Taichu to watch over Ye Buqu.
• Ye Lin infiltrated the demons’ territory through a breach in the teleportation array’s barrier and learned about the Heavenly Demon Empire’s invasion and its conflict over whether to attack Central Continent or the Endless Sea.
• Ye Lin followed Ye Hong into the enemy base, found the Transcendence Sacred Fruit and sealed Xuanhuang Qi, but Shadowless stole both treasures.
• Ye Lin trapped Shadowless near the array’s core, recovered the fruit and bottle, and took the Spatial Gem as Mo Fan and the demons tried to stop them.
• Ye Lin used Bai Ling and the Chaos Sword Casket to escape the barrier, while Mo Fan and two Half-Immortals abandoned the stronghold to seek survival as Loose Immortals.
• Ye Lin absorbed the half-finger, advanced to the late stage of Tribulation Transcendence, and returned to Nameless Mountain.
• Taichu told Li Yixian he would become Sect Master, and Ye Lin arrived as the succession gathering assembled with its True Lords concealing their injuries from a black-clad attacker.

Ye Lin and Hong Batian entered the Eternal Balance World and agreed to help Chu Yang secure the Golden Crow throne in exchange for a way home. After Chu Yang received the Emperor’s succession order, assassins attacked, leaving Ye Lin fighting to protect him.

• Ye Lin introduced Li Yixian as Nameless Mountain’s new Sect Master, then left with Hong Batian to investigate a mysterious bronze gate in the Eastern Sea.
• Beyond the gate, Ye Lin and Hong Batian entered the Heavenly God Realm, where Inspector Fu Heng identified them as outsiders and offered a route home if they helped Chu Yang claim the throne.
• Ye Lin and Hong Batian agreed to protect Chu Yang, and Ye Lin advised him to recruit overlooked minor factions to build support.
• Ye Lin pressured thirteen family heads into backing Chu Yang and spreading rumors about his hidden strength, while Hong Batian killed a watcher spying on them.
• Yan Yang offered Blood Sword Manor’s support in return for three days with the Heaven-Answering Stele, and Ye Lin accepted the condition.
• Chu Yun named Chu Yang his successor, gave him the Imperial Astronomical Bureau’s command token, and entrusted a final decree to his eunuch.
• Assassins attacked Chu Yang, but Ye Lin escaped the capital with him while Chu Yang’s guardian and Hong Batian were held off by Mahayana Half-Immortals.
• Ye Lin shielded Chu Yang from three black-clad assassins and attacked with the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword, but their golden net trapped and reflected his Sword Qi.

Ye Lin subdued the Heaven-Devouring Demon Jar and helped Old Garden reclaim the will to live before supporting Chu Yang’s bid for the Golden Crow throne. Chu Yang became Emperor, then left to seek support at Golden Crow Pass while Ye Lin took charge of the palace.

• Ye Lin found the imprisoned Old Garden, heard the story of his lost love, and subdued the Heaven-Devouring Demon Jar with the Heaven-Devouring Demonic Art.
• Ye Lin persuaded Old Garden to seek a chance to recover instead of dying, and Old Garden broke free of his chains and joined Ye Lin on the journey to the imperial capital.
• Ye Lin brought Old Garden to Chu Yang, who secured Li Ziqiang’s support and prepared to claim the throne with help from the Imperial Astronomical Bureau and Blood Sword Manor.
• Chu Yun purged officials from the court, named Chu Yang Crown Prince, and ordered punishment for princes who had colluded with the Demon Sect before the Heavenly Dao struck the capital.
• Chu Yun died as Chu Yang’s forces fought their way toward the palace, and Jian Wudi drove off Wan Wusheng when he threatened to kill Chu Yang.
• Chu Yang entered the palace and became Emperor of the Golden Crow Empire, then left Ye Lin in charge while he went to seek support at Golden Crow Pass.
• Ye Lin assigned Wusheng to arrange a court assembly, and Hong Batian gave Ye Lin cultivation techniques after asking him to find a drop of blood that could help him reach an unknown realm.
