After Hong Batian destroyed the Qilin capital, Ye Lin reached the Holy Pool and began absorbing its water, while the deaths of its defenders triggered explosions across the Eternal Balance World.

• Chu Zheng fled toward the Qilin Empire, while the ministers and other princes involved in the succession struggle also escaped the capital.
• Chu Yang confronted the ministers and chained princes, then ordered the princes to die and later sent Ye Lin to choose three treasures from the treasury.
• Ye Lin discovered a True Immortal’s corpse, absorbed its vital essence with the Heaven-Devouring Demon Jar, and gave Hong Batian the Golden Crow blood essence he needed to reach the Earth Immortal realm.

Ye Lin left the Eternal Balance World, revived Xiaoyao, and entered the Central Continent with Hong Batian and Old Garden. They discovered that Outer Realm Heavenly Demons had overrun the continent, while Xue Ming led two disciples toward the ruins of the Dao Advent Sect to seek its hidden treasure.

• Ye Lin completed the Unrivaled Sacred Body, absorbed some of the qilin blood essence, and left the collapsing Eternal Balance World with Hong Batian and Old Garden after Hong Batian held off the Heavenly Dao.
• Ye Lin and his companions reached the Qilin Empire’s ruined capital, confirmed its fall to the Golden Crow Empire, and received Fu Heng’s black Sword Talisman before arriving in a new world.
• Ye Lin answered Xiaoyao’s call for help and arrived as Xiaoyao died protecting Ye Yun from sea beasts, then used the Sword Heart Demon Seed to revive him at the peak of Mahayana.
• Hong Batian, Ye Lin, and Old Garden crossed the Central Continent’s barrier and learned from two demons that Outer Realm Heavenly Demons controlled all thirty-two commanderies.

Ye Lin recovered the Heaven-Monitoring Instrument, learned that the Ascension Gate was a trap, and tried to unite the Central Continent with the other continents against the Outer Realm Heavenly Demons. When negotiations stalled, he began hunting the demons’ fortunate fighters and infiltrated a secret realm under Xuan Ao’s identity, where he killed He Lin and Li Ao before He Weilan confronted him.

• Xue Ming and his two disciples uncovered the Dao Advent Sect’s ruins, but the Demonic Sect found them and attacked before Ye Lin, Hong Batian, and Old Garden arrived.
• Hong Batian broke through the formations and Ye Lin took a life-force bead, then Xue Ming found the Heaven-Monitoring Instrument in a hidden chamber and Old Garden seized it.
• Hong Batian used the instrument to see an imminent demon attack, and Ye Lin revealed the surrounding army before Old Garden destroyed it and Xue Ming renounced his place as the Dao Advent Sect’s inheritor.
• After traveling to Central Continent, Ye Lin and his companions entered the Human Race refuge, where Ye Lin showed its elders evidence that the Ascension Gate would bring the world’s destruction and proposed uniting the continents.
• The elders refused to risk opening the passages without proof of Ye Lin’s authority, so Ye Lin left to approach the transcendent factions while Hong Batian and Old Garden searched for them.
• Ye Lin hunted Outer Realm Heavenly Demons to raise his Luck Value, then infiltrated a secret realm by draining Leo and taking Xuan Ao’s identity.
• Ye Lin killed He Lin and Li Ao, gaining Fate Value and taking a bracelet from a treasure box, while Li Ao’s junior brother tracked him and He Weilan arrived seeking revenge.
• He Weilan challenged Ye Lin, and five figures arrived, including an imposing young man who looked kindly at Xuan Ao.

Ye Lin joined Xuan Wu’s fight against a monstrous creature, then uncovered the secret realm’s awakened princess and her corrupting Demon Star Stone. With Sanzang and Li Jingling, he fought the princess after she transformed into the Filth-Transmuting Venerable, ending the stretch in a clash of swords and black energy.

• Ye Lin fought as Xuan Ao, helped kill He Weilan and the eighteen-eyed monster, then agreed to Xuan Wu’s request to make Xuan Ao appear dead before killing Xuan Wu and erasing his memories.
