Ye Lin and his companions entered the Second Region, where Yun Xuan rescued them from the East Sea Dragon Clan and led cultivators toward a newly appeared secret realm. On the Heavenly Stairway, Ye Lin claimed a treasure and fought Yun Xuan, ending the stretch by unleashing trial lightning against his Sword Qi River.

• Bao Xiaotou led the group out of the shattered formation into the Second Region, where they emerged above the ocean and sensed its stronger laws, gravity, and space.
• The East Sea Dragon Clan pursued Ye Lin’s group on the Third Young Master’s orders, but Yun Xuan intervened and drove the dragons away.
• Ye Lin led the group to Sea-Suppressing City, where Know-All explained the Earth God Realm’s regions and told them about Yun Xuan and a developing anomaly in the East Sea.
• Yun Xuan gathered cultivators and led them across the sea to a radiant island, then killed a Flood Dragon that challenged their approach to the secret realm.
• Shangguan Wanyu carried Luo Yao onto the Heavenly Stairway, and Ye Lin and the others followed through its suppressive force and blood-red lightning.
• Ye Lin claimed a blueprint on the stairs, resisted Yun Xuan’s demand to surrender it, and fought him as the other prodigies followed.

Ye Lin explored the Nine Heavens Mystic Realm, gained the Purgatory Ice Flame, and killed Han Bingruo and Yun Xuan. As the sea races launched an attack on the land-dwellers, Ye Lin sought laws while Xinyou fought the Dragon King and Ao Ping courted Dantai Xingchen.

• Yun Xuan destroyed the blood-colored thunder dragon, told Ye Lin to keep an item for him, and left as Ye Lin’s group continued deeper into the secret realm.
• Ye Lin and his companions fought monsters on the Heavenly Stairway, then entered a void where they could absorb laws and improve their comprehension.
• Ye Lin battled Han Bingruo, survived her Nine Nether Frigid Air, killed her, and absorbed her frost flame to create the Purgatory Ice Flame.
• Yun Xuan lost most of his strength after Han Bingruo’s death because of the Life-and-Death Gu, then pursued Ye Lin and was killed by him.
• Ye Lin gained Yun Xuan’s Sword Dao luck as sea-race forces entered the land of Void and began a widespread battle with the land-dwellers.

Ye Lin led his companions out of the Nine Heavens Mystic Realm and escaped a trap in Sea-Suppressing City before taking refuge in the Myriad Demon Wasteland. During their hundred-year seclusion, Ye Lin advanced his Sword Dao while Shangguan Wanyu survived a demonic invasion that raised her cultivation.

• Ao Ping secured Dantai Xingchen’s life soul and ordered him to kill the land geniuses in the secret realm.
• Ye Lin and the surviving land prodigies were surrounded by the sea race, but Ao Guang intervened and bought them a chance to leave.
• Ye Lin’s group escaped the secret realm and reached Sea-Suppressing City, where an old man asked Ye Lin to fight the sea race.
• Know-All warned Ye Lin that the old man had trapped them, then led the group through a secret passage out of the city.
• Gu Qingzhi guided the group to the Myriad Demon Wasteland, where they began a hundred years of seclusion.
• Ye Lin studied a visualization diagram and absorbed its Sword Dao intent while Shangguan Wanyu uncovered underground ruins filled with demons.
• The demons invaded Shangguan Wanyu’s body and attacked her Primordial Spirit, but she woke to find herself healed and advanced to the fifth Golden Immortal level.
• Ye Lin emerged from his study with Sword Dao comprehension at the sixth-level Golden Immortal realm and chose to strengthen his foundation before advancing.

Ye Lin searched the Northern Frontier for the Seven-Colored Lotus while nurturing the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword with the blood of demons and rival factions. After becoming known as Blood Slaughter, he learned that a supposedly extinct Seven-Colored Lotus would be auctioned in Heavenly Capital City.

• Ye Lin accepted Ao Guang’s request to find the Seven-Colored Lotus in the Northern Frontier within one hundred years and chose the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword for his sword-nurturing method.
• Ye Lin met Yun Xi, took the Everlasting Fruit she had stolen from the Gold Clan, and restored her dying grandfather to youth before leaving the village.
• Ye Lin slaughtered the demons of Myriad Demon Mountain to nurture his sword, then destroyed Blood Clan cities as his search for the lotus continued.
• The Yuan Clan’s Ninth Elder demanded Ye Lin’s sword, but Ye Lin killed him, then destroyed Corpse Sea City and slaughtered the Blood Clan forces there.
