Background / History

Following the Dragon God's division, the Golden Dragon King inherited its physical strength while the Silver Dragon King inherited elemental control and wisdom. Gu Yue identifies herself as the Silver Dragon King and considers the Golden Dragon King's aura unmistakable through their shared bloodline origin. 23

At some point, Gu Yue split herself into two independent individuals: Gu Yue remained concealed within the Spirit Transmission Pagoda, while Na'er was sent to integrate into human society at Shrek Academy. Na'er later disappeared, frustrating Gu Yue's search until Gu Yue encountered her again at the Spirit Transmission Pagoda. 23

Gu Yue serves as Leng Yaozhu's disciple and accompanies her to Han Tianyi's office during Leng's effort to seek cooperation against the Qiangu Family. There, she detects the aura of the Golden Dragon King from Fang Lin. 21

Resonance with Fang Lin

Gu Yue introduces herself to Fang Lin and offers her hand. Their contact triggers an unexpected resonance between the Silver Dragon King and Golden Dragon King, leaving both briefly unable to let go. 21

Na'er witnesses the aftermath of this encounter and immediately recognizes Gu Yue's presence, while Gu Yue is equally confused to find Na'er living beside Fang Lin. 22

Two Golden Dragon King Auras

After leaving the Pagoda, Gu Yue realizes she can sense two Golden Dragon King auras: Fang Lin's nearby aura and another, faint trace in the East Sea. She and Di Tian conclude that the more important question is not which one is real, but which can be used to advance her goals. 23

Plan to Win Fang Lin Over
