Background / History
Qian Renxue is the soul of the legendary Angel God. Before her resurrection, she exists in connection with Ye Guyi, a young Angel Martial Soul user. Qian Renxue had made a bargain with Ye Guyi: in exchange for assistance, Ye Guyi would support the descendants of Qian Renxue's Third and Fifth Elders. Qian Renxue later feels guilty over imposing those obligations on her. 37
Kong Bo identifies Ye Guyi's true connection to Qian Renxue during a battle in the Underground Soul Fighting Arena. After capturing Ye Guyi, he negotiates directly with Qian Renxue, offering to sponsor Ye Guyi's admission to the Sun Moon Royal Soul Master Academy and assume responsibility for the two families. 36 37
Qian Renxue subsequently becomes trapped in Kong Bo's mind, where she observes his research and experiments. Disturbed by his methods, she attempts to draw him toward a more conventional life by arranging a marriage connection between him and her elders' descendants, Qing Yuan and Su Ning. 41 43
In Dragon Valley, Qian Renxue reveals that she, like the Dragon God, may have been influenced by a powerful external will. She also reflects on her former defeat and changes in her feelings toward Tang San, whom she now regards as an enemy. 64 65
The Dragon God entrusts her with the Light Dragon King's remaining power after the group discovers that Gu Ling's dragon soul has dissipated and her bones are shattered. Kong Bo uses those bones and Red Moon life force to construct Qian Renxue a new body, resurrecting her as the bearer of the Light Dragon Angel Martial Soul. 65 66
Personality
Qian Renxue is idealistic and retains faith in the Angel God's values, but Kong Bo's blunt pragmatism repeatedly challenges her worldview. His observation that Spirit Hall would rule the continent if the Angel God truly blessed people leaves her unable to answer. 37
She is protective of the descendants of her Third and Fifth Elders and is willing to pursue a marriage alliance for their security and prosperity. Her proposal is also motivated by a desire to preserve Kong Bo's humanity, as she fears his secret experiments are eroding her sanity. 41
Despite her moral revulsion toward Kong Bo's experiments, she comes to respect his intelligence, resourcefulness, and research-driven approach. His Faraday Cage demonstration forces her to recognize Spirit Hall's dependence on powerful individuals over systematic research. 38 39
Her feelings toward Kong Bo are conflicted. She finds his Dottore-like side disturbing, briefly considers whether she could feel affection for him, and later accepts his proposal that she become his future wife despite initial shock and frustration. 71 72 76
