"Northeast, target down!"

A steady stream of kill confirmations came through the comms. In the blink of an eye, Longbow had picked off every guard in the watchtowers.

"Nice work. Keep covering our advance."

Dun Shan, who had just cut through the barbed wire, offered a perfunctory compliment.

They had carried out countless missions together, after all. Dun Shan wasn't surprised in the slightest that Longbow had taken out the targets so quickly.

"Wolf Spider, Ryokugyu, let's deal with the outer patrols first. Wrench, report the situation and keep an eye on the enemy inside the building."

With that, Dun Shan strode through the fence first, lowered his rifle slightly, and quickly moved up against the outside wall of the building.

"Two enemies at ten o'clock," Wrench reported quickly over the earpiece.

Dun Shan and the others raised their guns in unison.

"Rat-a-tat-tat—"

"Three enemies, thirty meters ahead, around the corner."

"Rat-a-tat-tat—"

The crisp crack of gunfire rang out from time to time. By the time Shamira and Longbow had teamed up to snipe the two gangsters in the sentry booth by the main entrance, only seven or eight minutes had passed.

"All enemies on the outside are down! Thresh, bring the young master and follow behind us."

"R-...Roger!"

Thresh glanced awkwardly at Luca, who was intently watching the building in the distance, then called out to him softly.

"Young Master Luca, the captain told us to catch up."

Luca merely nodded slightly, then followed after them with Baymax.

By now, Luca was very satisfied with the squad.

Shamira's enthusiastic recommendation had already given Luca a good idea that the squad was probably quite capable.

But seeing them accomplish their tactical objectives so efficiently had made him even more impressed.

Maybe I should consider getting the Inverted-A Squad some better high-tech gear later, Luca thought.

At the moment, Luca had no leads on how to create high-tech gear, let alone replicas of it.

Meanwhile, after taking out all the enemies outside the building, Dun Shan and the others reloaded their magazines. They didn't wait where they were for Luca and the others to catch up, but continued communicating with Wrench over their earpieces.

"Black Mercedes-Benz S600, armored model. It'll reach the main entrance in ten seconds."

Dun Shan, who had already left the sentry booth, immediately tensed.

Their objective this time was to eliminate every enemy. They hadn't bothered to dispose of the bodies they'd left behind, so the moment the black Mercedes reached the sentry booth, the driver would spot something was wrong.

Dun Shan also knew this model of Mercedes-Benz. It was an armored vehicle rated VR7. Even three or five grenades exploding at once wouldn't pose a threat to it.

Dun Shan immediately made a decision and issued orders to everyone.

"Ryokugyu, plant explosives at the warehouse's main entrance. Longbow, keep your sights on that car. The moment anyone opens the door, take them out!"

"Everyone, get ready to storm the building!"

At that point, Dun Shan didn't have time to care whether the newcomer was Kingpin's accomplice or underling, or whether he might injure an innocent person.

On a quiet night like this, anyone who came looking for someone like Kingpin in an armored car deserved to be taken out by Longbow.

By the time he finished giving the order, the black Mercedes had nearly reached the main entrance.

"The people inside the building are moving! We've been exposed!"

"Six people are charging toward the warehouse's main entrance!"

Dun Shan immediately realized that the person in the car had spotted the scene outside and alerted the others inside.

He didn't bother gambling on whether the people in the VR7-rated armored car would get out. Slapping Ryokugyu beside him, he immediately ordered, "Ryokugyu! Detonate the explosives!"

Ryokugyu grinned savagely and pressed the button in his hand.

A moment later—

"BOOM—"

A deafening explosion erupted, and an enormous orange-red fireball filled everyone's vision.

The warehouse's ornate main doors were blown to pieces in an instant.

The fragments shot in every direction, tearing apart all six enemies who had been about to rush out from inside.

At that moment, while everyone's ears were still ringing from the blast, Wrench shouted through the earpiece again.

"That car's starting up! It's going to charge into the building!"

Smoke still filled Dun Shan's nose and mouth, but he didn't need to think for long before he understood what the other man was planning.

"He's trying to break in and get the target out!"

He still didn't know why the car had shown up so coincidentally at this moment, but it was obvious that the driver intended to rescue Kingpin.

Dun Shan immediately shouted, "Move! Stop him!"

As he spoke, Dun Shan raised his carbine, rushed out from cover, and charged toward the black Mercedes.

His rifle probably couldn't pierce the car's armor, but he could make sure the enemy couldn't get into or out of the Mercedes.

But just as he raised his gun and charged forward—

A dark figure suddenly shot out from the distance and planted itself directly in the Mercedes' path.

The next instant—

"THUD—"

A heavy impact rang out.

But the figure in front of the Mercedes wasn't sent flying. Instead, he wrapped both arms around the front of the car, his feet carving two dark furrows into the hard concrete.

The figure slid backward, but somehow managed to bring the charging Mercedes to a dead stop.

The screech of tires grinding against the ground rang out without pause. White smoke and the stench of burning rubber quickly filled the air, but the car still couldn't move forward.

"Holy crap! That's Agent Baymax!" Ryokugyu exclaimed beside him.

Even Dun Shan himself was momentarily stunned.

But in the next instant—

A torrent of bullets, accompanied by loud, maniacal laughter, rained down on the Mercedes now held in place.

In the distance, the bald, muscular man wielding an M249 SAW squad automatic weapon kept his finger pressed on the trigger, steadily advancing toward the Mercedes one step at a time.

"Hahahaha—die! Die! Hahahaha—every last one of you can go to hell!!"

Thresh laughed and shouted like a madman, his gun's muzzle flash never letting up.

The light machine gun was a heavyweight, with its 200-round belt box alone weighing over ten kilograms, and its continuous fire had tremendous recoil.

Yet in Thresh's hands, it remained steady as a rock.

Brass casings danced rapidly through the air like a waterfall.

Bullet holes spread evenly across this side of the black Mercedes, not a single one hitting Baymax as he held the car back.

At that very moment, Luca, following alongside Thresh, also raised the [Dominator] in his hand.

His lips parted slightly.

"Activate Destruction Decomposer Mode!"
