Origin and Rule of the Far North

Snow Empress formed from the purest ice-attribute energy in the Far North Lands’ core region. After countless years of nurturing, she developed thought and intelligence. The narrative describes her as a pure elemental body and the “daughter” of the northern ice plain 160.

She became the foremost of the Far North’s Three Great Kings and shared an Ice Palace with Ice Empress. Shortly after becoming an emperor, she found and raised the ice bear Little White, who continued to regard her as his mother more than two hundred thousand years later 135 156 161.

Capture and Human Transformation

Facing a 700,000-year Heavenly Tribulation she could not survive, Snow Empress attempted to transform into a human. An expert captured her during the process and sealed her origin inside the ninth-grade God Sealing Platform, leaving her without a physical body 37 43 44.

Her sealed embryo became the final item at the Starlight Auction House. Xiao Hongchen bid 150 million Gold Soul Coins, seeking the Spirit Ring, Spirit Bone, and possible second martial soul advertised as benefits of absorbing it. Xiao Jinchen already knew the embryo’s identity but initially concealed it from Ice Empress to avoid provoking an uncontrolled reaction 37 38.

Ice Empress recovered the embryo, and Xiao Jinchen refined a Humanoid Transformation Pill for Snow Empress. Although she still distrusted him, she accepted the pill because she trusted Ice Empress completely. The pill restored her body and freed her from Heavenly Tribulation 42 43.

Because the reconstruction did not recreate clothing, Snow Empress emerged unclothed. Embarrassed by Xiao Jinchen’s gaze, she formed a dress from Soul Power and challenged him. During their duel in the Exotic Flame Space, she discovered that his enhanced strength and seven-colored flame could suppress her 43 44 45.

Protector and Faction Administrator

Snow Empress accompanied Xiao Jinchen and Ice Empress to the Evil Demon Forest for the hunt against the Evil Emperor. After witnessing Xiao Jinchen’s victory and injuries, she reconsidered her earlier hostility and acknowledged that he had helped both empresses escape Heavenly Tribulation 50 51 53.

While Xiao Jinchen absorbed the Evil Emperor’s ring, the two empresses fought Ye Xishui, Long Xiaoyao, and Zhongli Wu. Zhongli Wu died, while the two Limit Douluo escaped with severe injuries inflicted by the empresses’ fusion skill. Snow Empress then accompanied Xiao Jinchen to the Holy Spirit Cult’s headquarters 53 54 56 57 59.

She later supported Xiao Jinchen’s recruitment campaign in the Heaven Dou Empire. He entrusted Falling Star Pavilion and the organization of its newly joined factions to her and Ice Empress. Conflict and Relationship with Xiao Jinchen

When Xiao Jinchen entered her room through a spatial rift while she was bathing, Snow Empress attacked him with ice spikes and the Emperor Sword. He defeated her, physically restrained and whipped her, and subjected her to a coercive sexual encounter. Her later internal narration explicitly states that she had not been willing 134 135 136 143.

Subsequent chapters depict an intimate relationship, but also her resentment at his unequal treatment of the two empresses. She objects to his harshness toward her compared with his tenderness toward Ice Empress. Later, she accepts his attention while asking him to be gentler 144 145 157.

Return to the Far North

At the Ice Palace, Xiao Jinchen helped Snow Empress reach Dou Zun. Afterward, she performed the Ice Sky Snow Woman Dance and joined Ice Empress in summoning the Far North’s powerful Soul Beasts 159 160.

Addressing the assembled beasts, she announced a new period of secluded cultivation and promised to return with a world free of Heavenly Tribulations. She ordered A-Tai to reassure the clans and prepare for his departure, while arranging for Little White to leave with her 161 162.

Her trust in Ice Empress is far stronger than her initial trust in Xiao Jinchen. Their bond spans hundreds of thousands of years, and she accepts the transformation pill without hesitation once Ice Empress personally offers it 38 43.

She is also capable of reassessing her actions. After seeing Xiao Jinchen risk his life against the Evil Emperor, she admits that attacking the person who freed her from Heavenly Tribulation had been impulsive. In battle, however, she is decisive and willing to kill opponents who ignore her warnings 53 54.

Her nurturing side is clearest with Little White. As a ruler, she values the Far North’s peace, considers its future, and makes arrangements to prevent unrest when its strongest beasts depart 161 162.
