"Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Yamcha, Piccolo, get ready. Everyone else, stay well back."
Facing this body, Gamos had no choice but to be cautious. This was a fused warrior, and he had no idea how far the other side had developed the body. Its fighting strength was completely unknown.
If he let the other side escape, it would be a massive headache.
And with the other side's formidable strength, they could easily suffer a heavy loss.
"Vados, I'll need your help in a moment."
Vados saw his grave expression and shook her head helplessly.
"If you're confident you can take the other side down, I can help. That wouldn't count as favoring either side. But if you can't defeat the other side, there's nothing I can do. Angels have to remain neutral, so I can't interfere in your fight."
With that, Vados looked toward Champa. Her meaning was clear: angels couldn't interfere, but Gods of Devastation could.
"Lord Champa, if anything goes wrong, please step in."
Sun Wukong stepped forward and made the request.
"Are you kidding? Gods of Devastation don't get involved in mortal affairs. What's it got to do with me? Besides, I'm not the God of Devastation of your universe. I'm not getting involved!"
Champa waved a hand. If the mighty God of Devastation helped mortals, it would be humiliating if word got around.
But Champa added silently, Of course, that guy has already picked a fight with me. That's a different matter.
The others could only accept it. Even an ordinary person might not help someone they'd only just met, let alone a god.
"Tch, it's just a Saiyan. Why make such a big deal of it? I, Vegeta, can handle this alone."
Vegeta snorted. Even he, the dignified Saiyan Prince, had never made the boy this nervous. Yet now he was treating another Saiyan so seriously. It was as if he didn't take the prince seriously at all.
"Vegeta, could you stop being so arrogant? There are several Saiyans here stronger than you. Where do you get the confidence to look down on a fused Saiyan?"
"You!"
Vegeta flew into a rage and clenched his fists, looking ready to charge over and beat the other man up. But after thinking about the other man's strength, he decided against it.
The Legendary Super Saiyan was someone he couldn't afford to provoke. Even a brat was stronger than him, so it was best not to ask for trouble.
But how could the proud Saiyan Prince ever admit defeat?
"One day, I'll crush every one of you underfoot."
Gamos pursed his lips but said nothing. What a proud man. He couldn't win, yet he still refused to give in. No matter how many times he failed, he never lost heart. Wasn't that a virtue, too?
"Everyone, take your positions. Krillin, Yamcha, if anything goes wrong, fuse immediately."
Gamos pulled a pair of earrings from his pocket and tossed them to the two men.
"Got it!"
They answered in unison.
Next, Gamos took out the sealed bottle containing Kefla.
He opened the lid, then tossed it onto an empty patch of ground like a Capsule Corp Capsule.
With a bang, an unsettling aura burst out. The surroundings turned green at once, then waves of green energy surged and gathered, condensing into an energy sphere.
Everyone knew these familiar effects and this familiar technique all too well.
It was the iconic entrance of a Super Saiyan, with green flames. They had all felt the overwhelming pressure of Gamos's power before.
But the aura radiating from Kefla was countless times more powerful than that of Gamos, a Saiyan who had yet to reach his full potential.
As soon as she emerged, Kefla stretched languidly, relieved to be free again.
She hadn't known what was happening before, but being sealed away had been an utterly miserable feeling.
"I'm free."
Before Dark Kefla could finish her opening line, Gamos laced his fingers together and launched a heavy punch at her from behind. Just as it was about to connect, his aura suddenly surged. Green flames shot into the sky, his hair turned green, and his muscles swelled with immense strength.
The sudden burst multiplied the power of his attack countless times. His heavy punch slammed into the back of her head. Under everyone's hopeful gazes, Dark Kefla staggered from the blow, nearly losing her balance and falling over.
"Who? How dare you ambush this god!"
Dark Kefla's aura flared as she took the heavy hit. She swung around and drove a punch into Gamos's stomach.
Gamos spat blood and went flying like a cannonball, smashing through who knew how many buildings.
"Those wretched human insects again. This time, I'll wipe every one of you out!"
Dark Kefla clenched both fists, unleashing a terrifying burst of energy. Her black hair instantly turned green, and lightning coiled around her body. She had reached the pinnacle of Super Saiyan power, just one step away from Super Saiyan 2.
Everyone sucked in a startled breath at the terrifying sight. She was so strong!
Even Champa, sitting in the distance and sipping juice, narrowed his eyes. Humans could actually reach this level of power—they had the strength to contend with a God of Devastation.
Without using their trump cards, even a God of Devastation probably couldn't defeat her quickly.
"Vados, can you find out where this body came from?"
"When Master Roshi was reading her memories, I made a copy of the information. The Dark Hit from earlier is the top assassin in our universe, as well as its strongest fighter."
"As for this fused warrior, she's a Saiyan from Universe 6. The two sisters are Kale, known as the Demon Saiyan, and Caulifla, known as a fighting genius!"
Champa, who had been drinking juice, spat it out when he heard Vados.
"What did you say? You mean those two are both from Universe 6?"
"That's right. But according to the information, they're not from our timeline. The two Saiyans in our universe are both still under ten, just like Gamos."
When Champa looked toward the battlefield again, his expression turned conflicted. Should he try to take the body for himself?
They were warriors from Universe 6. Why should Beerus get to keep them?
But after thinking it over, he decided against it. The other side had invited him to dinner. It really wouldn't be right to take their things.
"Tch, they're just two bodies. Let them have them. They're not from our timeline, anyway. Once they've trained, we can have our own two Saiyans learn from them and avoid a lot of detours."
"Having the other side pave the way really is a good idea. Lord Champa, you're getting clever!"
Vados praised him.
Meanwhile, seeing things take a turn for the worse, Krillin and Yamcha had already put on the earrings. The fake Goku and fake Vegeta collided, and the fake Vegito made his entrance.
"This is amazing! With this unprecedented power, I'm sure to win!"
Feeling the surging power inside him, the fake Vegito felt invincible again. Blue flames burst around him, and he instantly transformed into Super Saiyan Blue.
Super Saiyan Blue Vegito charged at her. Dark Kefla was no pushover. She didn't back down against him, her own green aura flaring as she charged straight at him.
Blue and green streaks of light collided, creating a powerful shockwave. In an instant, the windows shattered throughout the cities within a hundred miles, and people with weaker bodies bled from every orifice and died.
Sun Wukong and Vegeta quickly used Instant Transmission to reach their friends. They raised a protective barrier around everyone, allowing Bulma and the others to escape harm.
"That's an incredible power. Is that me in the future? As expected, I, Prince Vegeta, am the best."
"Vegeta, that's our fusion. I'm part of it, too."
Even at a time like this, the fake Son Kong and Vegeta couldn't stop bickering.
Vegito grabbed the fist Dark Kefla had thrown at him and countered with a heavy punch, but she caught it with her other hand.
For a moment, the two were evenly matched.
"You pathetic human! You're as insignificant as an insect before a god. Today, I'll show you how terrifying a god can be."
"What kind of god are you? The body you're using is human, too!"
"Humans were given power by the gods, and the gods have every right to take it back."
Dark Kefla slammed her head into his forehead. Vegito wasn't about to let that go unanswered. As the saying went, a blow deserved a blow, so he rammed his head into hers as well.
After two loud thuds, they let go and stumbled back, clutching their foreheads and looking ready to cry from the pain.
Perhaps their Saiyan blood had affected them. Both the fake Vegito and the Dark One with Zamasu's soul seemed to have abandoned reason and become battle maniacs.
"Damn humans! You've made me angry!"
Dark Kefla crossed her fists in front of her chest, then suddenly exploded with power. Green light covered her body.
"Ahhh!"
Saiyans relied on shouting to unleash their power. Dark Kefla seemed to understand that, too. She roared and began powering up.
Vegito naturally refused to be outdone. He furiously raised his energy, blue flames soaring into the sky. He shouted, and the blue energy thickened, gradually turning deep blue.
The terrifying energy swept in every direction. Vegito seemed to realize that their fight was hurting the civilians around them, so he turned into a deep-blue streak and flew into the distance.
"Human, where do you think you're going?"
Dark Kefla turned into a green streak and chased after him. The blue and green lights repeatedly clashed in the sky, beginning an aerial battle.
Seeing this, Gamos clutched his stomach, his face dark with dismay. He had never imagined that the other side had developed the body to this extent.
Dark Kefla hadn't reached Super Saiyan 2 yet, but Gamos was certain that her strength surpassed Kefla's at the Tournament of Power in the original story.
Kefla at the Tournament of Power had reached Super Saiyan 2 with green hair, but she had still lost to Sun Wukong's Ultra Instinct. One reason was that the two Saiyans' foundations weren't strong enough; another was that they hadn't mastered their power.
Otherwise, forget about Sun Wukong's black-haired Ultra Instinct—even Sun Wukong with silver-haired Ultra Instinct could have rubbed them into the ground.
But no one knew how many battles Dark Kefla had fought by now. Her strength was like that of a powerful fighter deliberately holding back his rank. She could definitely dominate opponents at her level and might even defeat those above her.
On top of that, the divine aura of Zamasu's soul had raised Kefla's energy to another level. She had already reached the pinnacle of green-haired Super Saiyan 2.
"Damn, I really miscalculated."
