Background

Gamos died in his original life after an online dispute over the Desolate series led to him being tracked down and beaten; he struck his head on a nail and transmigrated into the Dragon Ball world. He awakened there as the Legendary Super Saiyan he had idolized. 3

As an infant, he was selected as the Butterfly Spirit Tribe’s champion. Although the tribe possessed life-giving abilities, it had little combat strength against the predatory Green Cloth Tribe. Gamos flew to the battlefield, used his 10,000 combat power to bombard the attackers, and became the symbol of the counteroffensive that ended the war. His victory earned him the title of “Warrior” and the admiration of the planet’s young talents. 4 5

Over five years under Yasi’s care, Gamos learned to control and compress his inexhaustible Legendary Super Saiyan energy. He created the Enhanced Energy Blast, strengthened his body through enhanced-energy circulation, and deliberately tempered his mental power through repeated depletion and recovery. 5

Gamos later learned that much of his pre-transmigration memory was missing. The buried mental energy contained extreme violence and could take control whenever he pushed his transformations too far. His recovered memories revealed the life of Li Guifan, whose family was destroyed during an apocalypse and whose sister Li Han was murdered; Li Guifan’s grief awakened Hellfire before he was captured and tortured by the same squad leader. 60 83

The suppressed identities eventually manifested as the battle-obsessed red personality, Black Flame Li Guifan, and White-Haired Li Guifan. Su Dongxia used the Four Witches Technique and Namekian assimilation with Broly bodies to give the three identities separate vessels while maintaining a shared soul. Gamos is a Saiyan with a tail commonly wrapped around his waist. As a five-year-old, he had upright black hair with several front strands curving downward and described himself as notably handsome. 5 6

Gamos is excitable, boastful, and playful about his power, especially compared with the helplessness of his ordinary former life. He initially treated his first battle like a game, but consistently used his strength to protect Yasi, the Butterfly Spirit Tribe, and later the wider Dragon Ball world. 4 5

He is also highly pragmatic. He uses future knowledge to plan around threats, pressures King Kai into teaching him, studies technology alongside martial arts, exploits loopholes in opponents’ abilities, and creates systems when cultivation alone cannot save his world. 11 15 106 215

His greatest weakness is his unstable identity. The violent mental fluctuations repeatedly drove him into berserk rampages, and the Evil Cage exploited his fear that “Gamos” was an unwanted byproduct of Li Guifan’s existence. Memories of Su Dongxia, Yasi, and Lanya restored his resolve, after which he affirmed that he was “Gamos, the Saiyan Gamos.” 60 80 122 146
