After absorbing one flame and recruiting Yao Tianhuo, he secured new benefits for the sect while the Soul Hall and Ancient Clan began responding to its growing influence.

• Lin Hao requisitioned Purple Pearl Island through compensation, recruited pirates, and led his companions to Sea God Island, where they received God Examinations.
• Lin Hao endured the Sea God's trials, gained a ten-million-year Spirit Ring, climbed all 1,001 steps, and trained with his companions through tidal body tempering.

At Venerable Creation’s cave abode, he defeated Star Plucking Old Ghost and began telling Han Feng about Douluo Continent and its gods.

• The Misty Cloud Sect conquered thirty-six empires, while Lin Hao and Xiao Yi Xian agreed they wanted to have children together.
• Lin Hao encouraged Zi Yan to return to the Ancient Void Dragon Clan, helped Nalan Yanran break through to Dou Zong, and began a relationship with her after Yun Yun gave her blessing.
• Lin Hao helped Tang Huo'er remove her fire poison, then won the Pill Gathering with his pill-ascension method and accepted Gu He as his disciple.
• Lin Hao subdued the Three Thousand Burning Flame with the help of Zi Yan’s ancestor essence blood and advanced to Dou Zun, while Nalan Yanran gained an Acquired Stellar Body in the Star Region.
• The Misty Cloud Sect established itself in the Central Plains as the Soul Clan moved against the Spirit Clan, and Lin Hao refused Han Feng’s offer to join the sect before Han Feng later appeared at Venerable Creation’s cave abode.

After forming an alliance with the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King and completing his trials, he rejected the Sea God’s position and began plundering the God Realm.

• Lin Hao defeated the factions that attacked the Misty Cloud Sect, helped Venerable Tian Huo reach Dou Saint, and built a powerful protective formation around the sect.
• Lin Hao returned to Purple Pearl Island, destroyed Spirit Hall and Star Luo Empire’s invading forces, killed Qian Daoliu and several Title Douluo, and spared Tuoba Xi after he surrendered.
• Lin Hao awakened Han Feng’s flame Martial Soul, then completed the Sea God’s seventh trial by pulling the Sea God’s Trident from its platform.
• Lin Hao persuaded the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King to ally with humanity and the Soul Beasts, earning full Sea God affinity and completing his trials.
• Bo Saixi sacrificed her life to send Lin Hao toward the God Realm, asking him to protect Sea God Island.

Lin Hao defeated Bibi Dong, claimed mastery of the Heavenly Tomb, and brought its treasures and training opportunities to the Misty Cloud Sect. After surviving Gu Yuan’s attack, he led the sect toward the Bodhi Ancient Tree, where a beast tide blocked their way.

• Lin Hao completed the Sea God’s inheritance, became the Galaxy God, and returned to Sea God Island to defeat Bibi Dong and kill Yu Xiaogang.
• After Bibi Dong died, Lin Hao secured the invaders’ surrender, began rebuilding Sea God Island, and helped Han Feng complete the Sea God’s trials.
• Lin Hao demanded that the Ancient Clan restore the Xiao Clan’s Heavenly Tomb quotas, then entered the tomb with Xiao Yu, Xiao Meier, and Gu He.
• Xiao Xuan gave Xiao Yu and Xiao Meier the Xiao Clan’s final Dou God Bloodline, while Lin Hao took the Source Qi Stone and the clan’s stored treasures.
• Lin Hao trapped and absorbed the Soul of the Heavenly Tomb, became its master, and let Misty Cloud Sect disciples train inside it.
• Gu Yuan attacked Lin Hao to seize his Source Qi Stone, but their battle injured both men and left Lin Hao able to escape back to the Misty Cloud Sect.

• Lin Hao led the Misty Cloud Sect toward the Bodhi Ancient Tree, where Qing Lin and Lin Hao opened a path through the beast tide with her pupils and his Angry Buddha Lotus Flame.
