"In a few days, it'll be your twentieth birthday. Go out after your birthday," Bibi Dong said.
Jiang Chen paused, then smiled. "I almost cultivated so much that I forgot my own birthday."
"Birthdays are great, there'll be cake again!" Xiao Xuening clapped her little hands and cheered excitedly.
Jiang Chen had made her birthday cakes twice before. That delicious taste remained fresh in her memory; whenever she thought of it, she could not stop herself from drooling.
Jiang Chen helplessly wiped the drool from his daughter's mouth. "Then I'll go out again in a few days."
He had no intention of telling Bibi Dong about his plan to challenge Tang Chen.
He did not want his beloved ones to worry about him.
"Teacher, how much longer will it take for you to complete the Rakshasa God inheritance?" Jiang Chen asked.
Bibi Dong shook her head. "That can't be determined, but it will take at least several years. My Soul Power is only rank ninety-eight now; even breaking through to rank ninety-nine will be difficult."
She then smiled. "Don't worry. The empire is developing in a good direction now, so I'm not as exhausted anymore and have much more time to cultivate."
Jiang Chen teased his daughter. "Sleep with Daddy tonight, okay?"
"Okay."
Four days later, Jiang Chen left Spirit City once more and headed for the remaining locations.
He hoped the system would come through for him again and create a few more opportunities for him to improve.
Although the Asura God had already told him that those gods would not make a move against him for the time being, Jiang Chen had been plagued by a bad feeling these past few days.
