In other words, if one could possess the bloodlines of all five great clans simultaneously and bring the purity of this bloodline close to that of Otsutsuki Kaguya, it would be highly likely to possess power approximating that of the Sage of Six Paths.

Only a Kekkei Mora existence, which is immortal and indestructible, could potentially endure the power of the All-Killing Ash Bone.

Simple genetic supplementation could never reach the level of a Kekkei Mora; therefore, the stronger the Shikotsumyaku power, the more likely one was to die from the Kekkei Genkai Disease.

Attempting to supplement the Shikotsumyaku genes to the level of the All-Killing Ash Bone would inevitably lead to death, as the body would be unable to bear it—not to mention the collapse crisis caused by the body's forced reorganization during genetic supplementation.

Thus, the path of simple genetic supplementation was dangerous and unpredictable, whereas restoring the Otsutsuki bloodline was theoretically more reliable.

However, as the Senju, Uzumaki, Uchiha, Hyuga, and Kaguya clans branched off from the Otsutsuki bloodline, their Otsutsuki blood had not only thinned over thousands of years of reproduction, but their genes had also mutated to the point where they were no longer mutually compatible.

An easy example to understand was the offspring of Senju Hashirama and Uzumaki Mito. As the children of the God of Shinobi and the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, they remained obscure in the history of the Ninja World; there was no explanation for this other than poor talent and weak strength.

If even closely related clans were not compatible, it was even less likely for clans that hadn't intermarried for thousands of years to be so.

Therefore, simply gathering the genes of the Senju, Uzumaki, Uchiha, Hyuga, and Kaguya clans would result in a complete lack of compatibility, and any attempt to restore the Otsutsuki genome from that would be futile.

Thus, Hyuga Lan's next step was to analyze a vast amount of data to identify the interconnected and complementary genes among these clans, using this to create the Otsutsuki Bloodline Restoration Serum.

He would then test the results by injecting this serum into the Kaguya Clan Head, ultimately accumulating data to perfect the experiment and safely obtain the power of a complete Otsutsuki bloodline.

One must realize that every Otsutsuki that had appeared was at least at the Six Paths level; the Otsutsuki bloodline harbored immense energy.

The deeper one delved into the Otsutsuki bloodline, the more powerful one could become. Ultimately, the Naruto world was a world defined by bloodline.

Just as Hyuga Lan was staying up late to draft his experimental plan, an uninvited guest broke into his home.
