He looked into the distance and suddenly spotted a crocodile. He shouted, "Hey, I see Luffy! He's in the town with that dog woman in those clothes and that jumping rabbit! Don't tell me he got tricked into going to their base?"
Suddenly, he saw Carrot bite down on Luffy's neck, and he let out a shocked scream!
Zoro asked, "What's wrong?"
Usopp said in a panic, "Luffy's being eaten bit by bit."
Franky was startled when he heard that. "Then they really are..."
Robin said with a grave, eerie expression, "Cannibals."
Usopp burst into tears and wailed, utterly unable to believe it.
Over on Luffy's side, Carrot took another bite, this time on Luffy's ear. Luffy said impatiently, "I told you not to bite me!"
Wanda turned to look at them.
Then Luffy said, "The whole town's flooded."
"The water will go down soon," Wanda said. They reached the edge of town and passed by things that looked like torture devices. At the sight of them, Wanda's eyes immediately filled with tears as memories came flooding back—of those enemies tying them to these instruments.
They had tortured them, asking, "Where is he?"
But their leader had refused to yield, saying, "No means no!" He had been beaten terribly. Remembering it made Wanda's tears fall.
Then Wanda remembered those people saying, "If you don't hand him over, this country will be destroyed."
Yet their leader had still insisted, "I don't understand what you're talking about. I really don't know what I have to say for you to understand."
The torture devices were stained with blood. Wanda covered her eyes to keep the tears from falling. Carrot turned away without a word, looking completely dejected. Luffy pursed his lips and did not dare speak either.
