Luffy suddenly turned serious and said to Kin'emon, "I refuse."
Usopp was utterly shocked. "Why? He's a companion sailing with us, isn't he?"
The moment Lu Yu saw Luffy's expression, he had guessed that Luffy intended to refuse. But he was also curious about his reason, so he left the decision to Luffy.
Kin'emon was stunned, his mouth falling open. "Why, Lord Luffy?"
Luffy still wore a serious expression. "I refuse."
Usopp, Franky, and Chopper were all shocked. Crying behind Luffy, they shouted, "Don't refuse!"
Chopper said, "Tell me this is a joke!"
Usopp immediately grabbed Luffy by the neck and shook his shoulders. "Why? I don't get it! Considering Kin'emon and the others' situation, shouldn't we join forces with them? Are you serious, you brat?"
Still shaking Luffy around, Usopp suddenly walked over to Kin'emon and the others. "Please wait! That didn't count just now. I'll teach him a lesson!" Then he slammed Luffy into the ground!
With his head pressed to the floor, Luffy shouted, "S-Stop it already!"
The three of them said in unison, "If you don't agree here, you're not a real man!"
"Wait a second!"
It was Nami. She stood there with her hands behind her back and said, "Luffy has a point too."
Then Nami walked over. "I'll negotiate with them!" As she spoke, her eyes instantly turned into money signs.
Chopper and Franky immediately grabbed her. "No, no! Stop right there!"
Luffy climbed back up, then suddenly said to Momonosuke, "Are you just here for decoration, Tao Tao?"
Usopp immediately slammed Luffy's head back into the ground. "Don't take it out on a child!"
Luffy continued, "Say something! Aren't you supposed to be amazing? Aren't you the leader of all these impressive guys?"
Luffy broke free from Usopp and ran up to Momonosuke.
